Apple Music is a streaming service that allows you to listen to over 100 million songs. Its features include the ability to download your favorite tracks and play them offline, lyrics in real time, listening across all your favorite devices, new music personalized just for you, curated playlists from our editors, and much more. All this in addition to exclusive and original content.

Classical music has a fundamentally different metadata structure from that of genres like pop, hip-hop, and country. As a result, it requires a unique approach to search, browse, library, and recommendations features. In addition, presenting the data about each album requires completely different formats. Classical listeners also have specific interests, such as composer bios and descriptions of works.

Yes, both apps will offer the largest classical catalog in the world. However, Apple Music Classical will include multiple additional features, such as classical browse, a search engine designed for classical music, handpicked recommendations, composer and artist bios, and descriptions of the works.

No, Apple Music Classical is classical only, but it does include lots of film and other crossover genres with classical music. Apple Music Classical users can also listen to more than 100 million songs on Apple Music through their subscription.

I don't have a solution to the problem, but I have a suggestion to have a different song to play. Search on Music for a song titled something like "A a a a a a...". There are several. They are usually 10 minutes of silence so you have time to find something before you hear the same song again for the millionth time (mine was A-Punk by Vampire Weekend).

Seriously thought I was the only one .. My 2023 Apple Music Replay said my top song was A$AP Forever smh I think my only solution is to delete it and if I ever actually want to hear it, which will probably be never (sorry A$AP), I'll just have to search it up.

So I also have this issue and it seems to be an apple music thing since I'm 99% certain, none of us have the same model/make of car. Suggesting that we reach out to the car manufacturer seems more a "we have no idea and we're not going to look into it" answer. Hoping for a more clear answer. will keep looking.

We completely understand the issue you're describing. Auto-play functionality is not an iPhone feature. We've heard reports that in some cases auto-play with resume the last song that was played, some will start with the first song in the library, and others will not auto-play at all.

This is usually caused by how your car request to play music from the connected device. Since this isn't a current feature of iPhone, feedback is your best option. If you'd like to provide feedback to Apple or request a feature, you can do that, but you'll want to so do it in the right place.

If your device is automatically playing music when you connect it to your car, you'll need to reach out to your car manufacturer for help. CarPlay and Bluetooth on iPhone do not have auto-play features to turn off or on. This is usually caused by your device (in this case, your car) requesting to play music when your iPhone is connected.

I obviously am here because I have the same issue and I would like to see an answer to turn it off completely because turning off auto play does not solve my issue. It will automatically play a song when plugged in even when turned off and my only guess as to why is because it pads Apple Music stats for plays. It is psychological torture. About to switch to Spotify

When I set up a start time on a song via my Mac in Apple Music, it does not save. These are songs I downloaded outside of Apple Music. This used to work a long time ago, but I am not sure if I am missing something or if there is a glitch in the software.

Thanks for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. I understand that you're attempting to set start times for certain songs in your Music library that you've imported from other sources, but the changes you're making aren't saving. I know it's important to be able to customize your library; I'd like to help. When you select "Get Info" for a song to change the track start time under Options, is "Remember playback position" checked? If not, check the box and test to see if your preferences are saved.

I have obviously tried the first few solutions, restarting the app, restarting the phone, deleting the app, even signing out of iCloud so that all my music needed to be re-downloaded but the issue persists, which is seriously annoying and should be fixed urgently. If you are playing a song and try to delete it, app crashes. If you skip to the next song and delete the song through the history list, app crashes. If you search up the song via the search tab, app crashes. If you delete the song whilst filtering it from your library (using the search bar at the top of your library), app crashes. The only way I have found to delete a song WITHOUT the app crashing, you need to scroll all the way down in your library to the exact song, and delete it.

This question was asked and answered before - I also want to use the music for an i-Movie - but now that iTunes doesn't exist the option of just going to iTunes and buying it outside of the Apple Music account isn't open to me anymore. Anyone have any idea. This seems like a pretty glaring omission considering it exists within their own ecosystem.

Just go the iTunes Store and buy it. Make sure you are in the Store, not in Apple Music (see below). if you have the same song already downloaded from Apple Music, delete it first, and then buy the track.

hey, im new to this streaming stuff. i recently uploaded music through distrokid and its been two days now and i cant claim my artists profile but my song is on apple music right now. i copied my artist page link and tried to claim it but it says im not the main artist and that im only featured on the song. im quiet confused to be honest. would appreciate some help, thanks !

Ive used Distrokid kid for my account and uploaded music to Spotify and Apple Music. However, when I go to Apple Music for artists and try to find my account Distrokid made for me and claim it. It just comes up as "No Results". But it's on Apple Music. Can anyone help please

I finally fixed it on my end. Give it a couple days , I could find my music through a link but not by searching it on Apple Music itself low and behold about two days later it started popping up. Even when this happened I had no fix for the claiming part I still received the "can't find artist" error until I tried on the laptop instead of my phone. I had tried on the laptop multiple times and failed but something told me to open safari to try it out one more time. My name and project popped up and I actually advanced to the next step but it bugged out when trying to link my tunecore account. Once I again I just stayed patience and thought to try it again but this time on google chrome. Everything worked perfectly on chrome and now my claim has been sent for verification. I hope this helps a few of you out!

I had this same issue and resolved it by going about it a bit differently. I noticed that when I search for my artist name, nothing comes up. But when I drop in the apple music link, the profile shows. The interesting part is that I get the same error message unless I use the song apple link instead of the artist one. The moment I used the song uri to verify, the app let me continue.

I tried to troubleshoot via the Developer Console of Browser and I find out that when I enter the URL of my music URL or Artist URL it showing that I am Unauthorized but I already logged into let me know if anyone know the solution of it.

ibberson92's solution worked for me. When I link the artist profile or an album I get the same error message that it can't be a featured artist. When I linked an individual song, I was able to progress through and claim my profile. Hope this helps

After a while the album would just stop playing again and it would simply cycle through the songs without playing anything. Then I have to quit iTunes again and open it up. Then it works for a little while before doing the same.

I encountered a problem similar to this one but on my iPhone through the Music app. Basically, it just kept cycling through the songs without playing them because the actual Apple Music service was blocked by the firewall at my workplace. e24fc04721
