I am playing on console and when lever I play on a server these mobile players hit me from 10 BLOCKS with CRITICAL HITS! I'm so cheezed. It's really unfair to us console players. I want all types of platforms to have the same reach or make a specific server for mobile because this is outrages.

Hey y'all, those of you who have/had it how's Minecraft on mobile play? Is it worth getting it on mobile phones? Reason I ask is that I have a two dollar credit on Google play, on any game or app, which expires soon. Do y'all recommend getting it? Forgot to add, I already have it on switch, but I use my phone half the day. And I actually prefer to use my phone for certain apps, like yt, and Reddit.

The WLAN hotspot is a LG G3 Android phone, connected to a Swiss phone provider (Salt) via mobile data. The android's phone IP4 address to the 'outside world' is B.B.B.B (as determined by opening on the phone or the computer).

Then I installed the "Port Forwarder" app on the android phone, in order to have people connect to my minecraft server on port 25565. In the Port Forwarder app I added a service to forward TCP from 25565 to 25565. The Target IP is set to A.A.A.A (as determined by ifconfig, it is something like 192.168.43.164).The public interface is set to wlan0 (other choices are lo and rmnet0).

You need to run a static IP for port-forwarding the computer. (I'm not sure how you do it on ubuntu)When you configured one you go to the server properties and use that static IP (most of the times it begins with 192.168).When you have your static IP port-forwarded you need to go to and get the IP displayed. Everbody needs to connect to that IP.

But the mobile and Windows 10 versions will soon escape their shackles. Microsoft is adding programmable items called command blocks to the mobile and Windows 10 versions, Jens Bergensten, lead developer on Minecraft, told CNET. The company hopes to enable more extensive changes called "mods" on both those versions, and on the one that runs on game consoles too, Microsoft said this month.

The decision by Mojang, the Minecraft developer that Microsoft acquired in 2014 for $2.5 billion, is a big deal in the gaming world. Bringing the PC version's flexibility to mobile devices means millions more players can move beyond plain old vanilla Minecraft and dive into its deeper levels. And with mobile devices assuming an ever-more commanding presence in our lives, Minecraft has a better chance at keeping its crown as the video game equivalent of Lego, the all-purpose foundation that kids can take in whatever direction they dream up.

Bringing the mobile versions up to the same level as the PC versions will be tough, though. The processing horsepower is catching up, but command blocks, for example, require players to type long, complicated text commands -- hard even with a full-size keyboard.

After launching "Minecraft," sign into your Microsoft account (Xbox One users will have an account automatically). You'll see a button for this in the main menu if you're not signed in already. Console players will also need an online subscription for their device, such as Xbox Live or Nintendo Switch Online.

It's also very useful to be able to replace things that get lost or broken somehow. It's a frustrating loss that can easily be fixed with Creative. Here's how to go back and forth between Creative and Survival on mobile in Minecraft Pocket Edition.

Step 3: Continue to feed the cat more raw fish until hearts appear above its head, signifying it is being tamed. You will likely have to feed it multiple times to get it to like you, so stock up on fish before you attempt this.

If you were hoping to be able to start a new game and go straight to the DLC to take on the game with your favorite started, you will unfortunately be disappointed. Not only do you have to beat the base game's main campaign, up to and including The Way Home. That means beating the Elite Four and the post-game Area Zero content that concludes with you battling your professor in the Great Crater.

Target platform builds are created individually, then transmitted to the platform's app store. Most stores have their own compliance requirements and subject the incoming edition to a series of certification tests before making it available for download. Xbox Game Studios attempts to synchronize availability across stores, but the certification process is not under their control and can delay an edition's availability on a certain platform, especially if it fails certification and has to go back to the developers for a fix.

Up until June 7, 2022[30], the name "Bedrock Edition" was not the official name of any edition of the game. Starting with the Better Together Update, all Bedrock editions of Minecraft have been named simply Minecraft. Before then, they each had a subtitle identifying the target platform, including Pocket Edition (for all mobile platforms), Windows 10 Edition, Gear VR Edition, and Fire TV Edition. The earliest of these was Pocket Edition, also known as "MCPE" or "PE", and these names were (and still are) sometimes used to refer to all the Bedrock editions, possibly even including those that were introduced after the renaming occurred.

Together, these complications made the official name Minecraft useless for referring to the Bedrock editions collectively. The editors of this wiki, however, needed such a term in order to describe the functioning of the Bedrock Engine across all editions, so despite there not being a real Bedrock Edition, the wiki chose to use this as a term of art. Subsequently, the community adopted it as well and it is now the de facto standard term for referring to all the Bedrock editions collectively. Mojang Studios employees have also used Bedrock Edition to refer to said edition in news articles, until June 7, 2022 where both Java Edition for PC and Bedrock Edition for Windows are sold under one bundle, titled Minecraft: Java & Bedrock Edition for PC, marking the first official use of "Bedrock Edition" as a subtitle in any Bedrock editions.[34]

Some devices below these specifications have been known to work fine either with or without custom ROM images, kernels, and overclocking of the CPU. The MSM7227 CPU is not supported due to its lack of the floating-point unit.[40] The "Tegra 2" processor is also not supported because it lacks support for Neon.

From version 1.2.0, the Better Together Update, the Bedrock editions no longer have the "Edition" subtitle and are renamed to simply Minecraft.[44] A port of Bedrock Edition for Xbox One was released along with the update, and one for the Nintendo Switch was released digitally and physically on June 21, 2018.[45] PlayStation 4 users received the Bedrock Edition with the 1.14.0 update on December 10, 2019.[46] Owners of the original Legacy Console Edition for these consoles are able to download the new version for free. In October 2020, the Gear VR and Windows 10 Mobile editions of the game were discontinued.[47] In June 2021, the Fire TV edition of the game was discontinued.[48]

From Mojang Studios, Minecraft is popular among kids and teens and available across devices, including mobile, and systems. While you can set a range of parental controls on the devices they use, you can also use in-game safety settings to keep children safe online.

Designed for students of all learning styles and all grade levels, Minecraft: Education Edition provides more than 300 Minecraft worlds to explore and over 600 standards-aligned lessons to engage learners across the curriculum from history, languages, social and emotional learning, equity and inclusion, and STEM-focused areas such as chemistry, coding, and much more.
