I have 20+ hours of flying coming up, thinking a Nintendo Switch might be a good investment. But I have never been in the Nintendo ecosystem and have no clue how their region locking works. I know if I buy a Japanese switch I can play western games, but can I create some account (from... I guess there is some Nintendo store?) with a Japanese credit card? Does Nintendo restrict accounts via some form of geolocation (as is the case with many things I have tried to sign up for, account gets rejected when the credit card address returns a Japanese address)?

Basically I only want to play breath of the wild in English on a Japanese switch. What do I need to do starting from zero with only Japanese credit cards? Do I need to buy a physical English version and get it shipped?

I live in the US, but currently have a preorder on Amazon Japan. Does anyone know if there is any difference between the switch I will receive from Japan vs. one at my local best buy? I'd imagine the packaging would be different, but what about the console itself?

I know since it hasn't been released this is a difficult question to answer, but maybe someone has compared unboxing videos or has questioned Nintendo directly and can provide some insight. I'm super hyped to get the switch which is why I took the chance on the Japan order, but I'm worries I'll regret it when I find out there's some change I didn't know about.

Not surprisingly, he gets hit by a pitcher who loses command of the strike zone while trying to counter such an ingenious approach. Not only does Yamaguchi switch which side he hits from between pitches, he crouches down and his knee almost hits the dirt, making for a miniscule strike zone.

Yamaguchi could be considered the hitting version of former MLB pitcher Pat Venditte, who rose to fame in 2015 by pitching with both his right and left hands. And just this past week, the Brewers took switch-pitching phenom Jurrangelo Cijntje in the 18th round of the MLB Draft. The young hurler can reach 90 mph with both hands.

Since I am Hungarian, I am used to the Hungarian QWERTZ layout when typing, even in English. However, I have recently started to type in Japanese, which is based on a QWERTY layout. Maybe I would just get used to it in time, but it would make things much easier for me if I could switch the Z and Y keys for the Japanese input.

E.g. if I have my usual german QWERTZ layout active in Windows and I press the z key, Windows sends a z character; After I switch to the japanese input language my z key will now send a y character, but it will still have the same ScanCode

But first of all, pleaZ help with the language : I'm running a MBP (MacBook Pro) M1 2021 on Monterey but might switch to Ventura soon as Monterey is crap as most of Mac OS systems since many years as Apple  launches a new OS every year !

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is an incredible RPG that gives you a lot of language choices. You can play it in English, Japanese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Russian, and many more. Enjoy playing! I also play    ,Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, Final Fantasy XVI in different languages but usually in japanese both Sub and Dub for other platforms

Used to switch between entering Japanese and English text. It is not found as a separate key in the modern Japanese 106/109-key keyboard layout. On the Common Building Block (CBB) Keyboard for Notebooks, as many 106/109-key keyboards, the Kanji key is located on the Half-width/Full-width key, and needs the key ALT.It is found as a separate key on the IBM PS/55 5576-001 keyboard. On the IBM PS/55 5576-002 keyboard, it is mapped to the left Alt key.

That's where we come in. We get a lot of emails from people struggling to install and switch between Japanese keyboards. In this guide we'll show you how to install Japanese keyboard inputs, set awesome shortcuts for better productivity, and type anything you could ever want, all without needing a "real" Japanese computer or keyboard.

You'll get a prompt asking whether you'd like to change your primary language from English (or whatever it currently is) to Japanese. Unless you're fluent in Japanese, don't switch. Just choose Use English for now.

I just got a new phone so I had to reinstall my Japanese IME and it has a kana layout kinda like a flip phone too. I heard that the Google IME will let you use romaji input like a regular keyboard, but how do I switch it?

So, you bought a cool japanese import game for the GameCube, but your US formatted console won't play it. You're in luck! There's a simple mod you can do to switch back and forth between NTSC-U and NTSC-J. e24fc04721
