Just bought a 24" smart Vizio tv for the kitchen. The Directv box is NOT in the kitchen. So far I haven't been able to figure out how to link Directv programming to the smart TV and use the Directv remote with it. From what I've found on line so far, it looks like it's not doable and that's a deal breaker.

Maybe someone else knows for sure but I distinctly remember trying to log into my directv account on a computer to watch a michigan game last year and received an unavailable message because it was broadcast on ESPN's app. Just a heads up as I'm not 100 percent sure. Every time we start a show on the Apple TV app, using our Vizio smart tv, closed captions/subtitles are on. I have to log out and back in each time in order for them to be turned off.
