My Xfinity streaming TV video has no audio. The picture is fine and navigation is fine. My laptop audio does work because I've gone on to YouTube and Vimeo and the sound on those videos are fine. When I stream Xfinity TV from my Fire Table and iPhone 7 it also works fine. But for some reason while I do have audio with my laptop it's just not working for the Xfinity streaming.

This exact same thing is happening to me. I tried the advice given, but SAP was already turned off. I turned it on, and then off again to see if that worked - but it remained in Spanish the entire time. Any other thoughts? When I play it from my TV or phone, it plays in English. It is only through the laptop.

If you're a Comcast subscriber, now you have another option. The newly updated Comcast Xfinity TV Player app (Android|iOS) now offers the enviable ability to download movies and TV shows from four networks: Encore, MoviePlex, Showtime, and Starz.

I guess my warranty period is over which means there is no way to get support, recently I watched TV on my Envy x360 laptop, and within the last three weeks I tried to watch and the screen breaks up so bad that the entire screen has large pixels covering it, you cannot watch movies or tv any longer, I tried up dating the video driver, it was the latest one listed, after that I rebooted and still not working. I talked to Microsoft last week and they took control of my computer, they updated one area of the computer, not sure what he did though, then he restarted three times, obviously it still isn't working. Not sure what I can do to make it work.... I do not think that I will ever purchase another HP computer, this computer is less than a year old and the mouse pad on the keyboard barely responds... The screen is nice, but the edges are sooooo sharp that you can cut your hands when you touch the edges of the laptop.... I was an HP fan, but I lost that loving feeling... Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Well, you are in luck. DVRs work a lot like your computer. At its most basic, a DVR is simply recording your television programs and movies onto a hard drive, which is exactly what your computer has inside of it. Thus, at its essence, when we look at transferring information from a DVR to a computer, we are simply copying a file from our DVR to our computer.

Since a DVR has a hard drive, and a computer has a hard drive, we could ideally just connect the DVR and computer together with a USB or HDMI cable (just as we would with an external USB hard drive) and copy the shows and movies from the hard drive in our DVR to the hard drive in our computer as you see depicted in photo below:

XFINITY On Campus is an additional service available only for on-campus resident students to stream Live TV and their favorite movies directly through their laptops and mobile devices. 2351a5e196
