  and protect information when you use our mobile application for document scanning, PDF editing, file

  conversion, and related tools.

2. Information We Collect

  CamScanner AI is designed to process your documents on your device. We do not operate our own servers for

  storing or reviewing your PDF files, scanned documents, images, Word files, or Excel files.

• Files and Documents: When you choose files, images, PDFs, Word documents, or Excel sheets, the app reads

  them only to open, edit, convert, merge, compress, or save your requested output.

  • Scans and Images: Scanned pages and imported images are used to create or edit documents inside the app.

  • Storage Access: Storage access may be requested so the app can open files from your device and save

  exported documents.

  • Notifications: Notification permission may be requested to show file save or export status.

  • Device and Advertising Data: Advertising partners may collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, app

  interaction data, and approximate location as described in their own policies.

  3. Local Processing

  Document editing and conversion features, including PDF editing, merging, image-to-PDF, Word-to-PDF, Excel-

  to-PDF, compression, signatures, annotations, and file export, are handled locally by the app. Temporary

  working files may be created in the app cache while processing and saving documents.

4. Third-Party Services

  CamScanner AI uses Google AdMob to display ads, including banner, interstitial, rewarded, and app open ads.

  AdMob may collect and process advertising IDs, device information, and usage signals to provide, measure,

  and improve ads, including personalized ads where permitted.

 The document scanning feature uses Google ML Kit / Google Play services document scanner components. These

  components may process scan-related data as needed to provide scanning functionality. Please review Google's

  Privacy Policy for more information about Google's data practices.

  5. Data Security

Your documents are stored on your device or in the location you choose when saving or exporting. Because

  files remain under your control, you are responsible for securing your device, backups, and shared files. We

  recommend using device screen locks and sharing documents only with trusted apps or people.

  6. Children's Privacy

CamScanner AI is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a

  child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can review the issue.
