Cam Reader does not collect, store, or share any personal information from its users.

Camera & Microphone Access

Cam Reader requires access to your device’s camera and microphone to function.

• Purpose: These are used strictly to record your video and audio while you read the teleprompter script.

• Data Handling: All processing happens in real-time on your device. Your camera feed and audio are never streamed to, analyzed by, or stored on any external servers.

Photo/Media Library Access

The app requests access to your device’s Photo Library.

• Purpose: This permission is required solely to save and export the videos you create within the app to your device's Camera Roll/Gallery.

• Data Handling: Cam Reader does not view, scan, or upload your existing photos or videos. It only has "write" access to save the files you create.

Clipboard Access

You may choose to paste text into the app to use as a script.

• Purpose: To allow you to quickly import scripts from other apps (like Notes, Google Docs, or Email).

• Data Handling: The text you paste is processed locally within the app’s active memory to display on the teleprompter screen. We do not track, log, or transmit your clipboard content.

Data Collection & Third Parties

• No Accounts: You do not need to create an account or login to use Cam Reader.

• No Analytics: We do not use third-party analytics (like Google Analytics or Mixpanel) to track user behavior.

• No Tracking: We do not track your location or device ID.

• No Ads: The app is free and does not display advertisements or share data with ad networks.
