Information
Summer Camp 2022 is currently in the planning stages. We are hoping to host camp In- Person and overnight as has been done prior to the pandemic!
Camp is open to youth 7-14 from and will be held July 3-16 2022 at Camp St. Basil on the shores of Pigeon Lake!
We've had 6 online camps running during various times of the year including summer, Christmas and Easter that we hosted on ZOOM for free. This allowed us to keep connected with campers not only in Alberta but across North America! ZOOM Camps allowed us to build and continue that community of friendship when we were not able to meet in person. We hope that your camper can now join us as we return to in-person camp!
Additionally we hope you would be willing to make a donation to Camp St. Basil to help keep programs like this running when we can return to in-person activities. To do that please contact the Parish office at (780) 434 8010.

A typical hour will look something like this:
9:55-1000 Login -
10:00 - Prayer - quick overview of the hour's program
10:05 - Short game. - Depending on the weekly theme and the day, it could include drawing on a shared document, charades, Pictionary.
10:20- 10:30 - Religious Lesson
10:30 - 10:55 - Craft
10:55-11 - Wrap up the hour, Prayer - goodbye till tomorrow!
The last day we usually run a fun Olympic day. Campers will run through various activities with their counselor after coming up with a team name and flag.

Note: Campers will need access to Zoom - We will send the link and password so they can access the fun! For an optimal experience campers should have their own device, though sharing a device with a sibling is more than allowed. Again we will be in touch prior to camp with any purchases that need to be made for crafts. We plan to keep things simple and easy to find!
