Camp Laurent

Lisbon, New York
Originally built at the turn of the 20th century as a retreat and summer family home, Camp Laurent soon gained a reputation for being the place to go for summer camps. From 1950 through the late 1990’s, Camp Laurent was used for Christian summer camps by the local churches. Situated on the banks of the mighty and majestic St. Lawrence, one can view a sunset or sunrise, take a quick walk to Lisbon Beach or find your favorite spot to relax on the grounds of Camp Laurent. You’ll find modern amenities mixed among the rustic feel of attending camp.
Camp Laurent is a church-owned facility located on the St. Lawrence River in the town of Lisbon, New York. The camp is operated by the First Congregational Church, United Church of Christ of Lisbon. It is available for use with a maintenance fee for the use of the basic facilities from June 1st – September 30th. UPDATE for 2023 SEASON: It is with sad hearts that we announce that Camp Laurent will NOT OPEN until we have the proper permits from the DOH and DEC. We continue to work with these agencies and an engineer, but things are on hold as we wait out summer weather to do further probing of our system. We are sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for continuing your good thoughts and prayers.
