Cub Scouts is a year-round family program for boys and girls in kindergarten through fifth grade. Our Pack has exciting events with activities that are fun for the entire family. Our Scouts learn about important life skills, personal safety and environmental stewardship. They take part in fun outdoor activities, get involved in their community, and learn to be part of a team.
During the school year, the Pack meets at Trinity Lutheran Church in Camp Hill on the third Friday of every month at 6:30 pm. Dens meet once or twice monthly.

Camp Hill Cub Scout Pack 51 is launching a GoFundMe campaign to raise the necessary funds to professionally repoint the Siebert Park fire pit. This fire pit was built as a lasting memorial to the brave Camp Hill Boy Scouts who made the ultimate sacrifice in World War II. We want to ensure this memorial continues to be a place for reflection and scouting activities for generations to come.

Pack Meetings
Our Pack comes together once a month for a meeting to celebrate, recognize achievements, complete service projects, go to sporting events, or for some friendly competition among the Dens.
Den Meetings
The Pack is made up of multiple Dens. Each Den is made up of Scouts in the same grade or age together, working on adventures to complete badge requirements through games, service projects, outdoor activities, and mayhem!
Campouts
We love camping! Our Pack goes camping at least twice a year - in the fall as school is starting and in the spring as summer arrives. The entire family is invited to participate as Den’s go on adventures, cook meals together, and then end the day with skits, songs, and awards.
Hiking and Biking
Our Cub Scouts embark on exciting adventures, trekking along the iconic Appalachian Trail, challenging themselves on First Day Hikes at Gifford Pinchot State Park, and pedaling scenic routes on the Cumberland Valley Rails to Trails.
Classic Races: Pinewood Derby and Raingutter Regatta
Each year, our Cub Scout pack races down the track at the Pinewood Derby, launches homemade boats in the Rain Gutter Regatta.
Community Service
Our Pack strives to make positive contributions to our community. Each year, we honor Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy through service projects, proudly march in the Camp Hill Halloween and Memorial Day Parades, and create a camping themed display for the Camp Hill Parade of Lights to benefit Toys for Tots.
Special Events
Our Pack celebrates the anniversary of Cub Scouting with its Blue and Gold Banquet and also hosts a kickoff picnic in the summer and a graduation picnic in the spring. We also schedule an annual adventure such as an overnight on the Battleship USS New Jersey and a sleepover in the National Aquarium in Baltimore.
Summer Camp
Our pack is proud to participate in the tradition of Scout camping! Each year, we pack our bags and head to Camp Tuckahoe for both Webelos Camp and Cub Scout Camp. At camp, our scouts have the opportunity to explore the outdoors, learn new skills, and make lasting memories.
On the advancement trail, a Cub Scout progresses towards a badge of rank based on their grade. They need not have earned the previous rank in order to earn the next. Each of the ranks in Cub Scouting has its own requirements that are age appropriate, so earning a rank below a Cub Scout’s current grade is not permitted. As a Cub Scout advances through the ranks, the requirements get more challenging, to match the new skills and abilities they have learned.
Work on meeting advancement requirements for the grade level rank occurs at Den meetings and field trips within the local community. Each grade level den is assigned a Den Leader who teaches the grade level program. Once a month, the entire Pack, which includes all of the grade level Dens, come together at a Pack meeting to celebrate each scout's progress and to participate in a fun activities.
Our grade level Den Leaders and Den Meeting times/locations are listed below. If you have any questions, or would like to get in touch with a Den Leader, please send an email to camphillcubscoutpack51@gmail.com.
