Directions – Take Highway 108 east through Sonora. About 30 miles east of Sonora, turn right at the Pinecrest turnoff. Go another half mile and turn right onto Dodge Ridge Road. After about a mile you will see the entrance to the Pinecrest Chalet on the right, get ready to turn right at the sign for Camp Chinquapin (our entrance is about 200 yards from Pinecrest Chalet). As you come into camp, the road to the right leads to the Dining Hall parking lot. The road to the left is a loop road that leads to the cabins, RV and tent sites.
Note: Use the camp name for GPS otherwise it will stop before you arrive.

Please check road conditions before you travel to camp. In Winter, be prepared for snow and ice. Carry chains, food, water and appropriate clothing.

Yes, we have free WIFI around camp. Speeds and reliability may vary.

Yes, there is a $500 deposit required for groups in the booking process.

Groups as small as 40 and as large as 160 are welcome at Camp Chinquapin. The number of guests is set by the Camp Director and Group Leader before a contract is drafted.

Camp Chinquapin has space to sleep 115 in cabins. Additional guests can bring tents or RVs and stay in our available sites. The number of guests allowed is set by the Camp Director and Group Leader before a contract is drafted.
