What is Color Wars or Competition Central?

Usually a very popular session during the summer. The whole camp is split up into 4 teams and everyone competes in all kinds of camp events. The Staff set up and run events, judge different categories, and captain the teams. The whole thing ends with a camp wide relay that every camper participates in .

What's different between how camp does it and how we do it?

There's a few things that have changed either to make things simpler or because we are capable adults. 

• Presentation categories(Cheers, Song, Banner, Costume) have been condensed into one category, "Team Theme." It will be voted on by each team instead of 3rd party judges.

• All events are self officiated. Some staff will be available to help but don't count on them for everything.

• Points earned through events will decide the head start your team gets in the final relay. Winner of the relay, wins it all.

• To encourage mingling, all couples will be intentionally split up into different teams.
