DAILY CAMP RULES:
Show respect to all campers, counselors, staff, and property, (includes cultural, ethnic, and family backgrounds). Do not litter or damage any property of Burton Chace Park.
Follow camp programs, rules, and activity boundaries.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Zero tolerance for bullying or abuse—violations may lead to dismissal.
Behavior issues will involve parental notification and possible removal from camp.
Certain abusive behaviors result in immediate dismissal and exclusion from future camps.
No verbal or physical abuse towards campers, counselors, staff, or parents is allowed.
Violators will be removed immediately and banned from returning.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
LICE POLICY:
No Nits Allowed—campers with nits must be picked up and can only return when lice-free.
Hats are stored together daily, so this policy helps protect all campers.
If lice are discovered during camp, parents must inform the Camp Director and First Aider immediately.
Questions can be directed to the Camp Directors.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All medication must be given to the Camp First Aider on the first day, with the original prescription label and directions.
This must also be noted on the medical form.
Campers cannot carry any medication during camp hours.
If medication needs refrigeration, it must be brought in its own cooler.
For an EpiPen, a written and dated permission letter is required to administer it.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ARRIVING & LEAVING CAMP:
Campers must be checked in with the unit leader upon arrival. Do not drop them off in the parking area.
If your child needs to leave early, send a written letter to the camp the day before.
