Nothern Ohio Virtual Airstream (NOVA)
A club open to all Airstream owners
The Northern Ohio Virtual Airstream (NOVA) local club officers are all volunteers. This club would not exist without good leaders. We owe a round of thanks to these great people for their time and efforts in guiding our club.
Please consider sharing your talents with the club. You are invited to talk to any of the club’s officers about serving in a leadership position. Also feel free to contact our NOVA officers with any questions or comments.

My (our) Airstream/NOVA journey started in 2018 with the purchase of a Flying Cloud 25. With no affiliate club in New Hampshire, joining NOVA seemed like a good choice. The journey continued with a move to the "Canned Ham", one of the few AS vans in NOVA. What we love about being NOVA members is that no matter how long we are apart, the friendships just pick up where we left.

My wife, Anne, and I started our Airstream adventures in 2013 with our 25’, 1995 Excella 1000. In 2015 we started going to Urban Air events in Eaton Rapids, then Logan. It was there where we met John & Suzie Couger and several other NOVA members. Everyone always included us and made us feel welcome. We officially joined WBCCI and NOVA in 2019 and continue to enjoy the music, campfires, and mostly the friendship of the NOVA family.

I've been a NOVA member since the 2022 Can Opener Rally. I started Airstreaming in 2021 when we moved to Ohio from Singapore and bought a Caravel 20FB to start exploring the US (since upgraded to a 30’ Globetrotter). My wife Mei and I have done some great Airstream trips, including Route 66 to California and back through the Rocky Mountains, Yellowstone, Florida, Alumapalooza, and ACI International 2024. I will do my first national caravan in March (Georgia on My Mind), followed by Alaska. I'm also a member of the ACI Amateur Radio Intraclub.

I began my Airstream adventure in January 2020 after 20 years as a volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America. Participating in scouting with my two sons (age 28 and 31) rekindled my love of camping, but I needed something more comfortable than a tent! I purchased an Airstream intentionally for the club membership. I'm a solo camper, but I enjoy camping with friends. I joined NOVA in 2021 after the pandemic thwarted most of my 2020 camping and because the club had the most activities scheduled. I'm not yet retired, so camping is mainly close to home in Pickerington, Ohio.

My Airstream adventure started in 2013 when my husband and I got our Flying Cloud and started traveling across the USA. A few years later we discovered the terrific community in the Airstream Club, where we met so many NOVA members from the great state of Ohio. The NOVA unit has welcomed us at International Rallies and NOVA rallies held all over Ohio. We look forward to expanding our circle of friends in the Airstream community.

I began my Airstream journey in 2018 with the purchase of a 1977 Overlander. I have since added a 2008 25’ Classic which I have taken on 8 national caravans and numerous rallies and trips. I started with the Mohican Valley unit until its disbanding 2 years ago. I look forward to helping NOVA thrive through growth and unit activities, and to meeting many of you in the near future.

Chris and I joined Airstream Club International (ACI) in 2014 and were introduced to NOVA that same year. After being an at large member for the first year, we joined NOVA in 2015. What an adventure it has been! Through NOVA we have experienced the synchronous fireflies in the Great Smokey Mountain Park, looked for Big Foot in Ohio, re-created Picket’s Charge in Gettysburg, rode the steam engine train in Cuyahoga Valley National Park, worked on a service project at Santa’s Hide-A-Way Hollow and many more adventures. NOVA provides us with an experienced knowledge base for Airstream troubleshooting as well as trip planning.

I (we) joined NOVA after meeting Larry and Lou Woodruff at a rally at Haydacy Airstream in 2018 (now owned by Mark Wahlberg). They included me and my husband Tom in the event and invited us to tour their Airstream. It was an inclusive experience that welcomed us into the NOVA family. We have met many new friends during our travel and adventures and enjoying welcoming others to experience the camaraderie of the NOVA family.

Sarah and I entered into the Airstream world in 2022 after a few years of considering buying a camper. We ended up with an Airstream Basecamp 20. After taking delivery we wondered across an event called Urban Air in Logan, OH. Fortunately for us we met some NOVA folks there and the rest is history. We are grateful for the new friends we have met through this group and look forward to every new camping season with our NOVA family.
