Roles

Official Delegate

The official delegate maintains contact between Camosun College and the CWC. They are responsible for attending the meetings, disseminating information related to CWC activities, position statements, and resolutions to students and faculty.

Media Manager

The media manager updates the CWC's social media accounts and website. When necessary, they assist in generating material to promote organized events and activities.

Treasurer

The treasurer keeps up-to-date records of the financial transactions of the CWC. They are responsible for attending CWC meetings and preparing reports to ensure financial transparency. They maintain an annual budget to advise on incoming and outgoing expenses. They manage the Collective's trust account with the CCSS and complete cheque requisitions.

Vice-President

The vice president supports the president in representing the CWC and acts as spokesperson when necessary. They are responsible for attending CWC meetings, chairing meetings in the president's stead, and registering with the Camosun College Student Society.

Member-At-Large

All members of the CWC who do not hold an executive title are automatically considered a Member-At-Large. This gives you voting rights and a voice in the collective regarding upcoming events, and any future plans to be discussed by the executive team.
