Welcome to CamKit: Count, AR Ruler & 2FA ("this App", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our mobile application. By downloading, installing, or using this App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of Services & Feature Disclaimers
CamKit provides mobile utility functions, including two-factor authentication (2FA), spatial augmented reality (AR) measurement, and automated object counting. No user account creation is required to use this App.
2FA Authentication Security: 2FA secret keys and authentication tokens are stored strictly on your device using hardware-backed local encryption (e.g., iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your secret keys and export credentials. We do not maintain server backups of your 2FA keys and cannot assist in recovering lost authentication credentials or locked accounts.
AR Measurement Precision: AR Ruler dimensions and distance calculations are derived from real-time device camera feeds, motion sensors, and depth sensors (e.g., LiDAR). All measurements are approximations provided for informational and general utility purposes only. They are not intended for professional engineering, architectural drafting, or construction precision.
AI Object Counting: Automated object recognition estimates quantities based on visual inputs. Accuracy depends on environmental factors, including lighting, contrast, camera resolution, item density, and physical overlap. Count results should be independently verified for commercial, inventory, or critical accounting purposes.
2. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
Billing: Certain features, unlimited AI counting, or advanced tools may require a paid subscription or one-time purchase. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Management & Cancellation: You can manage, disable, or cancel subscriptions at any time via your device's account settings (App Store / Google Play Store).
Refund Policy: Refund requests are processed directly by the respective application store (Apple or Google) in accordance with their official purchasing policies.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property rights in the App—including but not limited to software code, algorithms, user interface (UI) design, graphics, branding, and text—are owned by or licensed to us. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code or underlying algorithms of the App.
Use the App's 2FA, counting, or measurement tools for fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful activities.
Abuse, overload, or attempt unauthorized access to servers used for optional cloud-assisted processing.
Bypass, disable, or modify any digital rights management or subscription validation mechanisms within the App.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP AND ALL ASSOCIATED FEATURES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, COMPLETELY SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR ABSOLUTELY ACCURATE IN ITS COUNTING OR MEASUREMENT CALCULATIONS.
6. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR ACCOUNT ACCESS (INCLUDING LOST 2FA KEYS OR UNRECOVERABLE TOKENS), ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE) THE APP.
7. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When material updates are made, we will adjust the "Effective Date" at the top of this document and notify users through in-app alerts. Continued use of the App following the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
