Reflection Statement:
The three sculptures visually communicate color and harmony. While exploring the materials to build the sculptures, I wanted to focus on wire and paper because I wanted to master the technique. I decided to include yarn to incorporate color. I felt the Twisted sculpture was lacking originality so I rotated it upside down. I want to keep exploring woodworking. I want to learn more about how to carve wood. This piece allowed me to explore many different mediums that I had not used before. The making of this work exposed new ideas such as using ink to create different shades of colors.
