Case Study
Context: Olombria is a London-based biotech startup that is looking to expand its market and network. Even after woking for the company for a significant amount of time, employees are unable to concisely and clearly explain what the company does, the service they provide, and what sets them apart in the market to investors, partnership organizations, and farmers. This leads to a loss in funding opportunities and sales, which prevents the company from being able to generate profits.
Challenge: Due to the time difference and differences in work culture, it was challenging to meet with SMEs in order to gather all the information necessary to develop a course that would meet the company's needs.
Solution: Through needs analysis, it was determined that an elearning course would be the solution. This course was broken down into modules and developed to complement the existing onboarding training. It includes videos and interactive lessons.
Result: This eLearning course is scheduled for deployment in February 2025. Upon completion of all the modules, the course aims to:
Enhance new employee onboarding training
Increase employees' understanding of the work the company does, as well as the unique needs of a startup
Provide employees with the tools to craft and deliver a sales pitch
