Bio

After a bachelor's degree in computer science at the University of Lyon 1 - with an academic exchange at the University of Ottawa in 2005 - I obtained a master's degree in computer science at the University of Caen Basse-Normandie in 2008.

During my thesis at the National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA), defended in December 2011, I worked on the automatic structuring of TV streams at INRIA (Rennes) within the TEXMEX team, under the direction of Pascale Sébillot and Guillaume Gravier. I also spent 3 months in the Spoken Language Processing Group at Columbia University in 2010, working with Professor Julia Hirschberg on the use of prosodic information for the similarity computation of TV news.

In 2011-2012, I worked as a teaching assistant (ATER) at the University of Rennes 1 and joined the StatNews project at the University of California, Berkeley for 4 months (January-April 2012).

From September 2012 to August 2013, I did a postdoctoral fellowship at the Heidelberg Institute for Theoretical Studies (HITS) in the natural language processing group headed by Professor Michael Strube.

Since September 2013, I have been an associate professor at Paris Saclay University and teach at the IUT d'Orsay in the computer science department. Regarding my research, I am part of the Spoken Language Processing group at LISN where I work on multimedia documents analysis.
