Portrait

A portrait is picture of a person you desire to draw and make it look real and alive. I chose one of my friends for my drawing because she's a good friend of mine. I used 2 Elements of Art and 2 Principles of Design. For one of the elements I used lines to draw the walls in the background besides that I also used it for her shirt. The 2nd Element of Art I used is texture because I had to use a lot of that for her hair. Her hair in the picture is wavy meaning I have to add texture to it so it looks more alive. The Principles of Design I used is contrast and movement. Both of these were also used for her hair. The contrast is used to define her curls and the movement to create a sense of motion because of her hair type.
