CamHubs ("the App") is developed and operated by Thuận Vũ ("we", "us"). CamHubs turns your Apple devices into paired home-security cameras: one device streams live video and audio, and your other devices watch, receive motion and sound alerts, and review recorded event clips.
This policy explains what information the App handles, why, and the choices you have. We built CamHubs to collect as little as possible: there is no account to create, and we never ask for your name, email address, or phone number.
Device names. You may name your devices (for example "Living Room iPad") so you can tell your cameras apart. These names are visible only to your paired devices.
Support emails. If you contact us, we receive your email address and anything you include in your message. The App pre-fills the app version, device model, and OS version so you don't have to describe them; you can delete any of this before sending.
Anonymous user ID. When you first launch the App we create a random, anonymous identifier. It is not linked to your name, email, or any real-world identity.
Pairing and device records. To connect your devices we store your anonymous ID, device names, device platform (iPhone/iPad/Mac), pairing relationships, and streaming status.
Live video and audio. Live streams travel directly between your own paired devices and are encrypted in transit. We do not receive, view, or store your live streams. When a direct connection isn't possible, the stream is passed through a relay service; relayed streams remain encrypted and the relay cannot view their content.
Event clips and captures. When motion or sound detection triggers a recording, or you capture a moment manually, the clip is uploaded to secure cloud storage so your paired devices can play it back. Clips are automatically deleted after 30 days. You can delete any clip yourself at any time.
Detection settings and event history. Your detection preferences (motion/sound sensitivity, zones, schedules) and a log of detection events (time, type, which camera) are stored so your devices stay in sync and you can review activity.
Push notification tokens. To deliver motion/sound alerts we store a push notification token for your device.
Subscription status. If you subscribe to Premium, Apple and our subscription infrastructure partner process the purchase. We receive and store your subscription status (active/expired) and anonymized transaction identifiers. We never see your name, card number, or Apple ID credentials.
Usage and diagnostics. We collect aggregate usage statistics (such as screens viewed and features used) and crash reports (including device model, OS version, and the state of the App at the time of the crash) to keep the App reliable. This data is tied to the anonymous identifiers above, not to your identity.
No name, email address, phone number, or contacts.
No precise location.
No advertising identifiers, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
Motion and sound detection run on your device; raw camera frames and microphone audio are analyzed locally and are not sent to us for analysis.
We use the information above only to:
connect and sync your paired devices,
deliver live streams, alerts, and recorded clips between your devices,
provide, restore, and honor Premium subscriptions,
fix crashes, improve reliability, and understand which features are used,
respond when you contact support.
We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers.
Cloud services provider — runs our cloud backend: clip storage, alert delivery, and diagnostics. Handles the anonymous ID, device/pairing records, clips, detection events, push tokens, and usage and crash data.
Subscription management provider — manages subscriptions and validates purchase receipts. Handles anonymized device/transaction identifiers and subscription status.
Streaming relay provider — relays streams that can't connect directly. Handles only the encrypted media relay and connection metadata (IP addresses); it cannot view stream content.
Apple — processes payments and delivers push notifications, under Apple's own terms and privacy policy.
These providers may process data on servers outside your country (including the United States). They are bound by their own privacy commitments and our configurations to use the data only for the purposes above. We will identify our current providers on request (Section 8).
Event clips and captures: deleted automatically after 30 days, or immediately when you delete them.
Pairing and device records, detection settings, event history: kept while the device remains paired; removed when you unpair a device.
Subscription records: kept while your subscription is active and as required for accounting.
Crash and usage data: retained for a limited period by our diagnostics provider, then deleted or aggregated.
Deleting the App from all of your devices ends collection. If you also want the associated cloud data removed, contact us (Section 8) and we will delete it.
Live streams are encrypted in transit between your devices, and all communication with our backend is encrypted. Stored clips and records are encrypted at rest, and access rules restrict every record to the paired devices it belongs to.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we design the App so that the most sensitive data — your live camera feed — never passes through our servers in readable form.
CamHubs is a camera app. Depending on where you live, recording video — and especially audio — of other people may require their consent. You are responsible for using the App lawfully: tell household members and visitors about active cameras where the law requires it, and do not point cameras where people have a reasonable expectation of privacy.
CamHubs is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
You can:
delete any clip, unpair any device, or stop detection at any time in the App,
disable notifications in the App or in system Settings,
manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings,
request access to, or deletion of, the cloud data associated with your anonymous ID by emailing us.
Depending on your location (for example the EU/EEA, UK, or California), you may have additional legal rights such as access, correction, deletion, and portability. We honor such requests regardless of where you live. Because we hold no identity data, we may ask you for details (such as your device names or when you started using the App) to locate your records.

We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date above. Material changes will also be announced in the App. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
