Clinical Research | Data Analytics | Licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy
Licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy and Healthcare Data Analyst dedicated to transforming clinical and community-level insights into data-informed systems strategy and health promotion strategies. I combine a strong scientific foundation and rigorous clinical background with proficiency in SQL, Python, Tableau, spreadsheets, and CRM software. Leveraging competency in research methodology, clinical quality metrics, and stakeholder communication, I am actively seeking analytics and informatics roles across healthcare, public health, and research spaces to optimize resource allocation, evaluate health promotion programs, and improve systems that benefit the clinician and patient experience.
Featured projects are located below! Feel free to see my work throughout this Google Sites Portfolio, MyDataFolio, and Tableau Public.
Featured Projects
Hospital-Acquired Infections Quality Improvement Analysis (August 2026)
Built an end-to-end healthcare quality improvement project using a fully synthetic 2024 inpatient dataset spanning patient encounters, Foley catheter and central-line exposure, infection-surveillance records, and device-maintenance audits. The project moved from relational dataset creation and intentional data-quality issues through SQL-based cleaning, surveillance review, process measurement, and Tableau visualization.
Used SQL to validate relationships, standardize unit names, reconcile device exposure, calculate device-days, screen infection-surveillance records, and create analytical CAUTI and CLABSI candidate rates. A separate maintenance-audit dataset was used to evaluate individual bundle elements and all-or-none bundle compliance.
Developed a four-dashboard Tableau report connecting outcome, process, exposure, and data-quality measures to identify improvement priorities, explore possible drivers, review candidate-event context, and translate findings into a structured quality-improvement plan.

Hospital Falls Analysis and Recommendations (August 2026)
Using a deliberately messy synthetic inpatient fall dataset, I built an end-to-end healthcare analytics workflow across Google Sheets, BigQuery SQL, and Tableau Public. The project includes 85 fictional fall incidents across four Chicago hospital labels and was created to practice data cleaning, relational lookups, feature engineering, exploratory analysis, and dashboard design.
I completed the cleaning and analysis independently in both Sheets and SQL, built a Google Sheets dashboard, and developed a three-part interactive Tableau story focused on fall patterns, patient risk, functional change after falls, repeat fallers, and practical prevention opportunities.

County Health Rankings and Roadmaps (August 2026)
The County Health Rankings & Roadmaps framework provides vital nationwide benchmarks for evaluating public health outcomes, socio-environmental factors, and clinical performance. This project establishes an interactive, data-driven analytics ecosystem that evaluates the intersection between behavioral risk factors, physical environments, and long-term health outcomes across more than 3,000 U.S. counties.
By engineering a data model in Google BigQuery (SQL) using zero-padded geographic concatenation and designing a dual-parameter, multi-dimensional Tableau Dashboard, this case study enables public health officials, epidemiological researchers, and quality assurance officers to isolate localized health disparities, track historical trajectories across shifting multi-year rolling intervals, and uncover high-leverage socio-environmental correlation trends.

Illinois Healthcare Quality & Patient Experience Analysis (July 2026)
The HCAHPS patient survey and CMS star ratings serve as national benchmarks for evaluating hospital quality, patient satisfaction, and clinical performance. This project establishes an interactive, data-driven framework analyzing the intersection between patient-reported experiences, institutional quality ratings, and 30-day clinical readmissions across 194 Illinois healthcare facilities.
By engineering a wide-format data model in Google BigQuery (SQL) and designing a parameter-driven interactive Tableau Storyboard, this case study enables hospital executives, quality assurance officers, and clinical leadership to evaluate patient satisfaction performance, isolate patient-perception vs. clinical performance, and identify high-leverage communication strategies for post-discharge care.

National Physical Therapy Exam Performance Analysis (July 2026)
The National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) serves as the benchmark entry-to-practice credential for Physical Therapists (PT) and Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) across the United States. This project establishes an interactive, data-driven framework analyzing institutional performance, class-size dynamics, regional variances, and pass-rate trajectories across 683 academic programs.
By engineering a consolidated data model in Google Sheets, Google BigQuery (SQL), and designing an interactive Tableau Storyboard, this case study enables educational leaders, accrediting bodies, and health system recruiters to benchmark institutional outcomes, identify top-tier programs, and pinpoint institutions requiring targeted academic resources.

North Carolina County Health and PT Workforce Trends (July, 2026)
Capstone for Google Data Anayltics Certificate
This project investigates physical therapy (PT) and physical therapy assistant (PTA) workforce dynamics and community health disparities across North Carolina's 100 counties from 2000 - 2024. Using Python, BigQuery SQL, and Google Sheets to prepare data and Tableau to create a four-dashboard layout, this project isolates workforce volatility and highlights retention challenges in rural, low-income healthcare markets. The resulting model provides high level insight for healthcare organizations, public health agencies, and insurance companies with insights related to retention incentives to improve regional quality of care.

County Health and Cardiovascular Mortality Rate (June, 2026)
Capstone for Google Data Analytics certificate
This project maps multi-million-row CDC datasets across 2,800+ U.S. counties to isolate cardiovascular mortality risks. Using a Tableau risk framework, I cross-reference socioeconomic factors, health metrics, and physical inactivity to expose high-risk U.S. counties. The analysis unmasks a paradox: high-mortality areas face fatal events before health metric incidence is recorded. Future work will leverage Python predictive modeling and machine learning to develop appropriate resource allocation.

Bellabeat Case Study (June, 2026)
Capstone for Google Data Analytics Coursera certificate, in which I investigated Fitbit usage patterns and health/wellness behaviors in order to inform the marketing strategy for Bellabeat, a women's health and wellness lineup of wearables and applications.
