This Privacy Policy explains how Camera Finder - Spy Detector (the "App", "we", "our", or "us") handles your information when you use our mobile application. Protecting your privacy is our core mission, and this policy reflects our commitment to keeping your data secure and private.
We do NOT collect any personal data. Our App is designed with your privacy as the highest priority. All scanning and detection processes happen entirely on your device. We do not have servers that receive or store your personal information.
The App does not collect, transmit, or store:
Your name, email address, or any contact details.
Your location or GPS data.
Your IP address or device identifiers.
Photos, videos, or audio from your device's cameras or microphones (all processing is done locally).
Information from your Wi-Fi or Bluetooth scans (scan results remain solely on your device).
Since we do not collect any information, we do not use your information for any purpose. The App functions purely offline or using local device resources. Any data processed (such as camera feed, Wi-Fi network list, or Bluetooth signals) is used in real-time to provide you with detection results and is immediately discarded after your scanning session ends.
No Data is Stored: Your scan history and any markers you create in AR mode are saved locally on your device's storage. This information never leaves your device. You can manage and delete this history directly within the App.
Data Security: Because we do not collect or transmit any personal data, the risk to your privacy is minimal. The security of your information on your device is managed by your phone's built-in security features, such as encryption and secure storage.
Our App requires access to certain device permissions to perform its core functions. We only request these permissions to provide the specific features you are using:
Camera: Used solely for the live view in the IR Camera Detector, Multi-Color Light Scan, Lens Glare Scanner, and AR Camera Scan. The camera feed is processed locally and never recorded or transmitted.
Bluetooth: Used to scan for nearby Bluetooth devices. The scan results are displayed to you and processed locally.
Wi-Fi: Used to scan the list of devices on your current Wi-Fi network. This information is processed locally and is not stored or transmitted.
You are in control of these permissions and can change them at any time in your device's settings. Denying a permission may prevent the corresponding app feature from functioning correctly.
Our App does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not integrate any social media platforms or external SDKs that could collect your data. The app does not contain any third-party advertising.
Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our systems. Since we do not collect any data, this is not applicable.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

Camera Finder - Spy Detector is an assistive scanning tool designed to help you identify potential hidden cameras or recording devices in private spaces using your iPhone's built-in sensors.
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: The App is a tool for assistance and does not guarantee the detection of all hidden cameras or recording devices. Sensor-based detection, including but not limited to magnetic fields, infrared, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth scanning, has inherent technical limitations. The App may produce false positives or fail to detect a device. The App is not a substitute for a thorough, manual physical inspection.
YOU AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK AND THAT YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR SAFETY AND THE SECURITY OF YOUR PRIVACY. The App is provided for your personal, non-commercial use only.
You agree to use the App responsibly and for its intended purpose, which is to help protect your own privacy. You agree not to:
Use the App for any unlawful, illegal, or unauthorized purpose.
Use the App to violate any local, state, national, or international law.
Rely solely on the App for safety-critical security assessments.
Misuse the App to harass, stalk, or invade the privacy of others.

The App, including all content, features, and functionality (such as the UI, design, and software code), is owned by us and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App for your personal use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on the App.
The App may include features available through in-app purchases or subscription plans. All purchases are final and are subject to Apple's standard refund policy, which we do not control. By making a purchase, you agree to the pricing and terms specified within the App.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users of the App, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP (IF ANY).
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in your jurisdiction of residence, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) for Apps, which is incorporated herein by reference: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's EULA, Apple's EULA shall control.
