CameraVault is built on one principle: your collection is nobody's business but yours.
DATA WE COLLECT
None. CameraVault does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data. The app contains no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no crash reporters, and no network access - it does not request Android's INTERNET permission at all, which you can verify yourself in the app's permission list.
WHERE YOUR DATA LIVES
Everything you enter - camera details, photos, prices, notes - is stored locally on your device, in the app's private storage. It is never uploaded anywhere.
PHOTOS
Photos you attach are copied into the app's private folder on your device. The app accesses your camera or photo library only when you explicitly tap to add a photo, and only for that action.
BACKUPS AND EXPORTS
The CSV export feature creates a file and hands it to the app you choose via your device's share sheet (for example, your email or cloud drive). What happens after that is governed by the app you share it to. CameraVault itself never sends data anywhere.
PURCHASES
CameraVault offers a one-time in-app unlock and an optional tip jar. These are handled entirely by Google Play, which draws its own purchase screen on top of the app.
CameraVault never sees, requests, or stores your card number, billing address, name, or Google account details. The app receives only a yes/no answer from Google Play about whether a product has been purchased, and records that answer on your device so your unlock works offline. Nothing about your purchase leaves your phone through this app.

DATA DELETION
Deleting a camera entry deletes its data and photos. Uninstalling the app deletes everything.
CHILDREN
CameraVault does not collect data from anyone, including children.
CHANGES
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
