This Privacy Policy explains what information the Camera GO app does and does not collect, how it is used, and your choices. By installing or using the App, you agree to this Policy.
The short version
Camera GO is built to keep your data on your device.
We do not require an account and we do not ask for your name, email, or any personal profile information.
Your videos, photos, and audio are recorded and stored locally on your device. We never upload them to us or anyone else.
Face detection (used for the face-blur feature) runs entirely on your device. Face images are not stored or transmitted.
Your app-lock PIN and biometric unlock are handled locally on your device.
Some data leaves your device for ads, analytics, and crash reporting through Google services (AdMob, Firebase Analytics, and Crashlytics), as described below.
The sections below give the full detail.
1. Information we do not collect
We do not operate servers that receive your personal content. Specifically, we do not collect, store, or transmit:
Your recordings (video, photos) or audio.
Your name, email address, phone number, or contacts.
Your precise or approximate location (the App does not request location permission).
Any account or login credentials (the App has no accounts).
2. Information processed only on your device
Some features process data on your device. This data is not sent to us and not sent to third parties by the App.
Camera and microphone. When you record, the App captures video and audio and saves the resulting file to your device’s storage. You control these files like any other media on your device.
Face detection for face blur. When the face-blur feature is enabled, the App uses Google’s ML Kit on-device face detection to find faces in the camera frames so it can blur them. This processing happens locally; no images or face data are uploaded, stored as separate data, or shared.
Timestamp burn-in. When enabled, the App overlays the current date and time onto your recording. This uses only your device clock.
App lock (PIN and biometric). If you enable the app lock, your PIN is stored locally on your device. Biometric (fingerprint/face) unlock is handled by your device’s operating system through Android’s standard BiometricPrompt — the App never receives or stores your biometric data.
3. Information collected by third parties
The App uses Google services that collect data to provide advertising, analytics, and crash reporting. This data is processed by Google in accordance with its policies.
Advertising (Google AdMob). The App shows banner ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob and its partners may collect and process information such as device identifiers, IP address, and ad interaction data.
Analytics (Google Firebase Analytics). The App uses Firebase Analytics to understand how the App is used — for example, which features are opened and how often. It may collect usage and event data, device and app information, a unique app-instance identifier, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We use this in aggregate to improve the App.
Crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics). The App uses Firebase Crashlytics to detect and diagnose crashes. When the App crashes, it may collect diagnostic data such as the crash stack trace, device model, operating system version, and the App’s state at the time of the crash. We use this only to find and fix bugs and improve stability.

You can limit ad personalization through your device settings (for example, Settings → Google → Ads on Android, where you can opt out of personalized ads or reset your advertising ID).
4. Permissions the App requests and why
Camera — to record video and take photos.
Microphone — to record audio with your video (you can disable audio in the App).
Storage / Media — to save your recordings and read your most recent files for the gallery thumbnail.
Internet / Network — used to load advertisements and to send analytics and crash-report data.
Biometric — optional, only if you enable the biometric app lock.
You can revoke any permission at any time in your device’s system settings. Some features will stop working without their required permission.
5. How information is used
On-device data (camera, audio, face detection, PIN) is used only to provide the App’s features on your device.
AdMob data is used by Google to serve and measure advertising.
Analytics data is used to understand how the App is used so we can improve it.
Crash-report data is used to find and fix bugs and improve stability.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Data sharing
The App does not share your recordings or personal content with us or any third party. The only data shared is the advertising, analytics, and crash-reporting data handled by Google, as described in Section 3. If you choose to share a recording yourself (for example, via the system share sheet), that sharing is controlled entirely by you and the app you share to.
7. Data retention and your control
Your recordings stay on your device until you delete them, either from within the App or your device’s gallery/files.
Your app-lock PIN remains on your device until you disable the lock or uninstall the App.
Uninstalling the App removes its locally stored settings and PIN. Recordings saved to your device’s shared storage may remain until you delete them.
8. Security
Your data is stored on your device and protected by your device’s own security (lock screen, encryption). The optional app lock adds a PIN/biometric gate to sensitive screens. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but because the App keeps your content on your device, the main protection of your content is your own device security.
9. Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App shows advertising, parents and guardians should supervise use by minors. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, contact us at neroxvero@gmail.com.
10. International users
The App can be used worldwide. Advertising data handled by Google may be processed in countries other than your own, in accordance with Google’s policies linked above.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide notice within the App or store listing. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
