This Privacy Policy explains how Camera Auto Timestamps ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles your data. We are committed to protecting your personal information and ensuring your privacy.
The core architecture of the App is built on a local-first, on-device processing model. We do not operate external application servers, we do not require account registration, and we do not track or sell your personal data.
### 1. Information We Access and Process on Your Device
To provide auto-stamping features (time, date, address, and GPS coordinates), the App requires access to certain device features. All processing happens locally on your device:
* Camera & Microphone: Accessed solely to allow you to take photos and record videos with real-time timestamps and watermarks. Audio and video streams are processed on-device and are never transmitted to us.
* Location Services (GPS & Network): When enabled, your precise or approximate location coordinates (latitude and longitude) are accessed locally to print GPS coordinates and geographic tags directly onto your photos and videos.
* Geocoding & Address Lookup: To display human-readable street addresses, town names, or postal codes, the App uses Apple's native geocoding framework (CLGeocoder). These geocoding requests are processed securely by Apple in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not store or transmit your address history to any independent servers.
* Photo Library Access: Accessed solely to read media you choose to edit or to save stamped photos and videos to your device’s Photos app when requested. We do not scan, index, or upload your photo library.
### 2. Information We Collect or Transmit
* No User Accounts: The App does not require account creation, logins, or personal profile setups.
* No Server Storage: We do not host central databases that store your stamped photos, recorded videos, location history, or device identifiers.
* No Third-Party Analytics or Trackers: The App does not embed third-party advertising SDKs, behavioral analytics trackers, or user profiling networks.
### 3. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
The App offers optional premium subscriptions or one-time purchases (such as watermark removal and advanced stamp styling).
* All financial transactions, billing, and subscription renewals are managed exclusively by Apple Inc. via the App Store (StoreKit).
* We do not collect, process, or store your credit card information, bank details, or billing addresses.
* We only receive anonymous transaction validation tokens from Apple to confirm whether an active Pro entitlement exists on your device.
### 4. Data Storage and Retention
* All original and edited media files, project drafts, and user preferences (such as chosen stamp fonts, colors, and formats) are stored locally in the App’s private container on your device.
* You maintain absolute control over your media. If you delete the App from your device, all data stored within the App's local sandbox is permanently removed by iOS.
### 5. Third-Party Services
The App relies strictly on native platform services:

### 6. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). Because all media and location services operate strictly on-device without data transmission, the App complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and international child safety standards.
### 7. Your Rights and Data Control
Because we do not store personal data on remote servers:
* Access & Portability: All your photos, videos, and settings reside on your device. You can export or delete them directly through the App or Apple Photos.
* Revoking Permissions: You can enable or revoke access to Camera, Microphone, Location, or Photos at any time via your device settings: Settings > Camera Auto Timestamps.
### 8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect operational or legal updates. Any modifications will be posted at this URL with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
