Hello, Lovies! A little bit about me: I’m an eighteen-year-old debut author who would almost always choose a night at home—curled up with my dog, a Monster energy drink, and a good book—over any social gathering. Some of my favorite authors are Lynn Painter, Abby Jimenez, Anna Huang, Lynette Noni, Rebecca Yarros, Katherine Center, Rick Riordan, Stephanie Garber, Tricia Levenseller, Emily Henry, and SO many more.
I’m bilingual and love incorporating aspects of different cultures into my stories and hope to continue exploring this in future projects. I’m currently a student at Utah State University pursuing degrees in both French and English creative writing (which may suggest I have a tendency to overcommit) and I aspire to have a career in publishing.
I have always dreamed of being an author. I have been writing stories since I was a child and wrote my first complete novel at sixteen. I've read more books than I could possibly count and am completely obsessed with all things romance. Writing and story telling are my passion, and I can't imagine any other future for myself that doesn't involve creating stories.
My favorite kinds of books are the ones that make me feel deep emotions. If it makes me laugh or cry it is an immediate favorite. For example, some of my favorite books of all time include, Percy Jackson (every single book), the Fourth Wing series , Nothing Like The Movies, Defy Me (the whole series too), Yours Truly, the Once Upon A Broken Heart trilogy, The Bodyguard, The Prison Healer trilogy, Six of Crows, The Cruel Prince trilogy, the list is a mile long.
My favorite movie of all time is The Princess Bride (I loved the book too) and my favorite TV show is Friends.
My goal is to help teenagers feel seen, and who better to do that than a fellow teen! High school is defined by first loves and first losses. Sometimes, it's hard to capture the essence of what it feels like to experience the heartbreak of your teen years when you're reflecting on it years later. I am still firmly in the midst of it and have stories I can't wait to share!
Yes, I'm the baby.
She answers to Winnifred, strangely enough.
Even after 12 years, I still don't feel fluent.
