The CCC will have a table set up at the Cambridge Junction Trailhead at 9 am. There will be hot dogs and snacks! Come by and see what we're up to, and tell us what you found on Green Up Day!

Bat Box Building Workshop. May 9, 2026

Curious about bats and their role in the ecosystem? Join us for an educational talk and build your own bat box workshop.

Come learn about bats and their role in our local ecosystem! Learn how and where to install your bat box.

Sign-up for the box-building portion is limited to 10 boxes. A family can build a box together, or friends can build one, etc. Not into building a box? Join us for the educational talk at 1 pm and head out after! This is a hands-on workshop, no skills required, and all materials will be provided.

This is a free event - donations to the Cambridge Conservation Commission are welcome!

The outdoor classroom is a short walk into the preserve from the main parking lot. A volunteer will be available to guide you.

The workshop is being led by Emily Porter-Goff of the Lamoille County Conservation District, sponsored by your friends at the Cambridge Conservation Commission and the Peter. A. Krusch Preserve.
