Phil is the heart and soul behind Cambridge Pet Sitter. He holds a Bachelor’s degree with Honours in Computer Science, but his true passion has always been animals. Raised in a household full of life cats, dogs, hamsters, turtles, birds, and even more exotic companions like tarantulas, snakes, squirrels, chameleons, and over 200 varieties of fish (yes, including sharks!) Rodrigues experience with animals runs deep.

He believes that every species has its own purpose, often reminding us to stay grounded, humble, and connected to the natural world.

Rodrigues is not only a highly experienced carer, but also a deeply organised and responsible person. His calm demeanour, natural leadership, and hands-on approach ensure that the highest standards of care are maintained across the team. While he has love for all creatures, he has a particular soft spot for birds, fascinated by their intelligence and freedom.
