The best course I have ever been on!
Exceptionally well-organized and informative course. The course provided practical tips that will enhance my practice and benefit my patients. All the sessions were very well conducted. I'm really glad I got the opportunity to participate, and I highly recommend this course to fellow healthcare professionals in diabetes care, looking to deepen their expertise in technology.
Excellent course, very interesting. Really makes you think how we can improve our own service provision. Thanks for a great course. Venue, info and food were excellent.
A very good course to update basic Diabetes Technology knowledge with some aspects at advanced practice levels e.g. Eating disorders, Exercise, Aging populations and End of Life.
I loved being able to listen, learn and discuss what other areas are doing and how to improve our own diabetes service in Northern Ireland.
The course was jampacked with excellent resources, speakers and activities! Found it very helpful.
The Cambridge advance insulin pump course is a course that I would definitely recommended to all my colleagues who review individuals living with diabetes and on insulin pump therapy. I attended the course with no expectation that I would learn anything and I was pleasantly surprised. Cannot stop raving about what I learnt to whoever cares to listen.
This was a great pump course, well organised and smoothly run. Sessions were well considered and catered to all delegates. The updates on key areas of practice were comprehensive and relevant.
I recently had the pleasure of attending the hybrid closed-loop insulin pump course in Cambridge, and it was an incredibly enlightening and beneficial experience. The course offered a comprehensive overview of the latest advancements in hybrid closed-loop insulin pump technology, blending theoretical knowledge with practical, 'speed dating' sessions. The talks were delivered by the experts in the field, providing deep insights into the functionality, benefits, and challenges of using these advanced systems. One of the most valuable aspects of the course was the 'speed dating' sessions. We had the opportunity to interact with the insulin pumps, learning how to set them up and troubleshoot common issues with HCL algorithms. This practical experience was invaluable, as it allowed me to gain confidence in managing the HCL technology effectively. The course covered all currently available HCL algorithms, integration of continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems with insulin pumps, emphasizing how this combination can significantly improve blood glucose control and reduce the burden of diabetes management. The real-world case studies discussion highlighted the positive impact of hybrid closed-loop systems on patients' quality of life. Networking with fellow participants was another highlight. Sharing experiences and strategies with other healthcare professionals and patients using these systems provided a broader perspective and reinforced the importance of community support in diabetes management. Overall, the hybrid closed-loop insulin pump course in Cambridge was a transformative experience. It equipped me with the knowledge and skills necessary to harness the full potential of this cutting-edge technology, ultimately helping to improve diabetes care for my patients. I highly recommend this course to anyone involved in diabetes management or interested in the latest advancements in insulin pump technology.
I heard about this course from a colleague and I'm extremely glad I applied for a place and it was successful. This was an extremely well run course that was relevant to my practice and I have taken alot away from it and hope that the information will help improve our service locally!
Great advanced course. Teachers / presentations were of very high standard. Relevant topics discussed. Course more factual about how to deliver / develop service. Maybe not for you if you want lots of hands on education re individual pumps. Course teachers very friendly and approachable.
I found the Cambridge course very beneficial. the mix of hands on practical work book sessions and research information was well balanced. It was a great to meet other people within the field and gain knowledge from each other also.
Excellent course, up to date information and great opportunity for networking.
