Anglesey Abbey
Summer of Play at Anglesey Abbey runs from 📅 19 July to 31 August, offering daily seaside-themed fun across five creative play zones—sand pits, sports, crafts, and nature activities for all ages. Audley End Miniature Railway’s Summer Festival runs from 19 July – 31 August and promises a magical, family-friendly adventure through enchanted woods and fairy-filled fun. Details TBC,
Cambridge & District M.E.S Miniature railway, Fulbrooke Road, (subject to weather). The gates to the site are open from 12.30pm and trains run from 1.30pm until 5.30pm. Whipple Saturday Openings - Explore the history of science through the collection of microscopes, telescopes, and globes. Take part in family trails and visit our Learning Gallery, where you can engage with interactive handling boxes to discover topics such as Light & Sound, the Human Body, and Earth & Space. 📅 17 May, 21 June, 19 July, 16 August, 20 September, 18 October, 15 November. These all run from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and are free, happening every third Saturday of the month.
