As a group, we are dedicated to amplifying youth voices on relevant issues in Cambridge, whether it be the racial inequities within our schools, the persistent opportunity gaps, or mental health issues. Each member brings their unique points of view, whether they are issues they have been affected by personally or believe must be resolved.

This is a paid position. If you choose to submit an application, you are agreeing to the following:
Attend 3 Family Policy Council meetings during the school year.
Attend 1 full group meeting every week.
Attend 1 subcommittee meeting a week.
This coming year, we will:
Continue working on Youth HeadSpace mental health campaign
Attend the National League of Cities Conference in Washington DC
Help out at the incoming freshman night at CRLS
Continue our annual MLK fundraiser
And explore other projects
The Cambridge Youth Council (CYC) is a branch of the Family Policy Council of the City of Cambridge. The Family Policy Council is dedicated to developing policy and program recommendations aimed at ensuring all children, teens and their families have access to what they need to be successful, engaged residents who are prepared for life in our community and in the world.
