Camas Coffee is run by Camas DECA students with a goal to raise funds for their DECA chapter as well as to learn how to start and operate a business. Harneet Kaur and Mina Robinson are using this project in hopes to compete on a state and international level this year in Orlando, Florida. For this project, 100% of the funds raised by this project go to support our DECA chapter of about 140 Camas High School students to help cover costs of competition. Another goal for this project is to engage our chapter with each student having a hand in label design and sales to broaden our scope of learning.
We purchase our coffee freshly roasted less than 15 miles from Camas High School at BJ's Coffee Roasters in Vancouver, WA. From quality beans sourced from around the world, we offer premium roasted coffee that is both local and fresh. As the premise for our project, we have also purchased our own professional label maker and use online software to design all our labels at Camas High School were we design and package all coffee bags by hand.
