Yu-Ceng Liao 廖育嶒
Bio.
My name is Yu-Ceng Liao (Calvin). I earned my Ph.D. in Political Science at the University of Houston. I majored in comparative politics with a minor in American politics. I specialize in comparative political institutions, political party and legislative politics, public policy and legislation, experimental design and political behavior, com, public opinion and election. Meanwhile, I also expand my interdisciplinary research interest in technology policy and politics , and data governance and evidence-based policymaking. My dissertation focuses on how electoral incentives influence legislative behavior. My current research is regarding elections, political dynasties, distributive politics and case studies of legislation in the parliament.

我名叫廖育嶒。美國休士頓大學政治學系博士。我的主修是比較政治，副修美國政治(聚焦在政治行為)。我的研究及教學專長是比較政治制度、政黨與議會政治、公共政策與立法、實驗與政治行為、民意與選舉。同時我在開拓其他跨領域研究興趣，包含科技與政治以及資料治理循證決策。我的學位論文是探討選舉制度的變遷如何影響國會議員的立法行為。我目前正在研究的主題涉及選舉、政治家族、國會中的分配政治及政策法案個案的立法過程研究。
