- To provide calorie and nutrition analysis
- To show daily totals, trends, and logs
- To improve scan accuracy and app performance
- To process in-app purchases
DATA STORAGE
- Food logs and profile data are stored locally on your device
- Nutrition analysis is processed through secure third-party APIs
- We do not sell your personal information
- We do not share data with third parties (except APIs below)

- Nutrition Database: USDA FoodData Central API
- In-App Purchases: Apple StoreKit
YOUR RIGHTS
- Delete all your data anytime via Settings → Reset App
- Data is removed when you uninstall the app
- You can control camera and photo access in iOS Settings
- You have the right to access and export your data
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
- CalSnap is not intended for children under 13
- We do not knowingly collect data from children
- Parents should supervise their children's app usage
DATA SECURITY
- We implement reasonable security measures
- Data is encrypted during transmission
- Your device's security features protect stored information
- We cannot guarantee absolute security
COOKIES & TRACKING
- We use local device storage for app settings only
- We do not use cookies or third-party tracking
- Analytics may be collected for app improvement
DATA RETENTION
- Your data is stored locally on your device
- When you delete the app, all local data is removed
- Cloud backups (if enabled) follow iOS iCloud policies
