This Privacy Policy explains how CalorieIQ (“we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the CalorieIQ mobile application (the “App”).
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
The App may collect the following information that you provide directly:

Height
Weight
This information is used to personalize calorie and nutrition estimates and improve your experience in the App.
The App requires access to:
Your device camera (for taking food photos)
Your photo library (for uploading food images)
These photos are used to analyze food items and estimate calories/macros.
We do not require microphone access.
CalorieIQ offers paid subscriptions. Payments are processed securely through Apple’s In-App Purchase system.
We do not collect or store your credit card information. Apple handles payment details.
We use the collected information to:
Provide calorie and nutrition estimates based on your body data
Analyze food images and return results to you
Improve the accuracy and performance of the App
Provide customer support
Maintain the App’s functionality and security
CalorieIQ uses artificial intelligence to analyze food photos you upload or capture using the camera.
To provide this feature, images may be securely transmitted to third-party AI services (including OpenAI) for analysis and response generation.
We do not sell your data.
We may share limited information only in the following cases:
We may share information with service providers that help operate the App (such as AI processing providers like OpenAI), only to perform services on our behalf.
We may disclose information if required to comply with legal obligations, enforce policies, or protect rights and safety.
We retain information only as long as necessary for:
Providing the App’s functionality

Resolving disputes and enforcing agreements
You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8).

CalorieIQ is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
