Welcome to Calmness: Meditation & Relax ("Calmness", "we", "our", or "the App").

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Calmness Android application.

1. No Registration or User Account

Calmness does not require users to create an account or register to use the App.

We do not require:

• Name

• Email address

• Phone number

• Password

• Home address

• Government identification

• User account credentials

There is no login or registration system in Calmness.

2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

Calmness provides features such as mood tracking, breathing exercises, meditation, relaxation, journaling, reminders, and statistics.

Information generated through these features may include:

• Mood selections

• Meditation session statistics

• Breathing exercise statistics

• Daily activity information

• Reminder settings

• App preferences

• Journal entries or personal notes

This information is designed to be stored locally on your Android device.

Calmness does not intentionally upload this information to our own servers.

We do not maintain a developer-controlled database containing your mood history, journal entries, meditation records, breathing records, or personal statistics.

3. Deletion of Local Information

Because this information is stored locally on your device, deleting the App or clearing its local application data will generally remove the locally stored information.

We do not keep a server-side copy of your locally stored journal entries, mood history, meditation statistics, breathing statistics, or other personal app records.

Android device backup and restore functionality may be controlled by Android or your device manufacturer. We do not control information that may be handled by those operating-system services.

4. Journal and Personal Notes

Calmness may provide a private journal feature that allows you to record your thoughts and notes.

Journal information is designed to remain stored locally on your device and is not intentionally transmitted to Calmness servers.

For your own privacy, please avoid entering highly sensitive information into the journal.

5. Advertising – Google AdMob

Calmness uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.

Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect or share certain information for purposes such as advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, and service functionality.

Depending on the SDK version, configuration, consent settings, and applicable requirements, this may include:

• IP address

• Advertising ID or other device/account identifiers

• App and user interaction information, such as app launches, taps, and video views

• Diagnostic and performance information

• Information relating to advertisements displayed or interacted with

Google states that data collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit.

The information processed by Google AdMob is handled according to Google's applicable privacy policies and advertising technologies.

Importantly, Calmness does not intentionally send your private journal entries, mood history, meditation records, breathing statistics, or personal notes to AdMob for advertising purposes.

6. Third-Party Services

Calmness may use third-party services necessary to provide certain app functionality, including advertising services such as Google AdMob.

Third-party service providers may process information according to their own privacy policies.

We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of applicable third-party service providers.

7. Children's Privacy

Calmness is not specifically designed or directed toward children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through user registration or account creation because Calmness does not provide user registration or accounts.

We do not knowingly maintain a database of children's personal information.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can investigate the matter.

8. Data Sharing

Calmness does not sell or rent your personal information.

We do not maintain or sell a database containing your personal journal entries, mood history, meditation statistics, breathing statistics, or other personal app records.

However, third-party services integrated into the App, such as Google AdMob, may independently collect or process information as described in their applicable policies.

Third-party SDK data collection is treated as part of the App's data practices for Google Play disclosure purposes.

9. Data Security

We designed Calmness so that information associated with personal app features can be stored locally on the user's device rather than in a database controlled by us.

However, no electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users are responsible for protecting access to their Android device.

10. Permissions

Calmness requests permissions only when they are necessary for the functionality of the App.

The permissions used by the App may vary depending on the features enabled and the Android version.

We do not use app permissions to create a personal database of users.

11. Advertising Preferences and Consent

Depending on the user's location and applicable privacy requirements, Google may provide advertising choices, consent mechanisms, or controls relating to personalized advertising.

Where required, Calmness may use Google's applicable consent mechanisms to help manage advertising privacy choices.

Users can also manage certain advertising and privacy controls through their Android device and Google settings.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the App's features, third-party services, advertising technologies, or applicable legal requirements change.

When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the beginning of this Privacy Policy.
