Welcome to Caller ID: Spam Call Blocker ("Caller ID", "the App", "we", "our", or "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your information.
This Privacy Policy explains what information may be accessed or collected when you use Caller ID: Spam Call Blocker, how that information is used, and the choices available to you.
By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
To provide caller identification, call screening, spam detection, blocking, and related features, the App may request certain Android permissions.
We request permissions only when they are necessary for a feature that you choose to use.
Call and Phone Information
Depending on the features enabled on your device, the App may request permissions such as:
READ_CALL_LOG
READ_PHONE_STATE
BIND_SCREENING_SERVICE
These permissions may allow the App to identify and screen incoming calls, determine call-related information, display caller information, and apply your blocking preferences.
On-device processing: Call-related information used by the core caller-identification and call-screening features is processed on your device and is not transmitted to Facemeet Private Limited's servers for storage.
The App does not sell your call history or call-related information.
Contacts
The App may request:
READ_CONTACTS
WRITE_CONTACTS
Contact access may be used to identify callers who are already saved in your address book and to help prevent known contacts from being incorrectly identified as spam.
If the App provides a feature that allows you to update or modify contact information, WRITE_CONTACTS may be used only when necessary for that feature.
Your contacts are processed on your device and are not uploaded to our servers for storage or used by us to create a public contact database.
You can manage or revoke contact permissions through your Android device settings.
Overlay and Notifications
The App may request:
SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW
POST_NOTIFICATIONS
The overlay permission may be used to display caller-identification or spam information over the incoming-call interface.
Notification permission may be used to provide caller-related notifications, spam alerts, blocking controls, or other relevant notifications.
These permissions can be managed through your Android device settings.
