Rocky Mountain Region Members,

The Christmas Holidays are over and we are well on our way into 2022, so far so good.

The Region's first train show has concluded very successfully at the Thanksgiving Point, Utah venue with a very healthy turnout of paid customers. People were cautious, wearing masks, being relatively safe, but enjoying the show. Displaying clubs were enjoying being able to show their stuff, running trains, and hands-on clinics.

The year has started with more modeling opportunities due to very cold temperatures - a perfect reason to be in our hobby room building models and running trains - running candy trains with the kids and grandkids. It doesn't get much better than that!

Just a reminder for Division supers, don't forget to nominate someone from your division that goes above and beyond in supporting your divisions. Send a brief write-up to me so I can choose one of your choices out of a hat drawing and submit that person as the Rocky Mountain Region hero of the year. I'm sure any of the nominations sent in by Division supers would be a great choice for the region, so the winning name will be drawn out of a hat by me. Let's see if we can have all nominations in by mid-February.

We also have mentioned a new logo contest for the region. Please send entries to Gary Myers, Region V.P.

I am heading for my train room to work on a project so bye for now.
