Fall has arrived with all the great colors, time to start prepping for model railroads winter construction season.

Train shows are in full swing - Estes Park just finished, SLC's is in November as is Denver's; Rails Along the Rio Grande in Albuquerque is near. Please support these shows as they are a most fun way to spend weekends with your families.

We have had the opportunity this summer to attend: the National Convention in St. Louis, the National Narrow Gauge Convention in Tacoma, train shows in Evanston and Estes Park, and several more happening before Christmas. I really like train shows!

It is time for getting back to building your layouts, maintenance, running trains and enjoying the hobby.

On the 8th of October, I had the honor of presenting Mike May his credentials as being Master Model Railroader #713 !!! Congratulations, Mike, on a wonderful and well earned accomplishment and award!

Had a great time visiting with the Silver San Juan Division membership. There is a great bunch of model railroads there and it really shows. Felt like home to me. Eric, you run a great program!
