California Collaborative for Educational Excellence (CCEE) Resource Hub
The CCEE Statewide System of Support Resource Hub is where County Offices of Education, districts, charter schools, Special Education Local Plan Areas, and other educational partners in California, can find information about state-funded initiatives, resources, and contact information for System of Support partners, to employ best practices, facilitate improvement plans, and improve student outcomes.
CAL-MSCS - California Mathematics, Science and Computer Science Professional Learning Partnership
The California Mathematics, Science, and Computer Science Partnership (CAL-MSCS), administered by the San Joaquin COE in partnership with the Santa Barbara and Monterey COEs, was funded in the 2022 Budget Act and is dedicated to building out the statewide professional development infrastructure for teachers in grades 4-12 to ensure access to high-quality training opportunities in math, science, and computer science.
Rural Math Collaborative - CCEE Learning Accelleration Grant
The Rural Math Collaborative provides asynchronous professional development modules on the Mathematics Framework and provides ongoing development and coaching through professional learning networks on Framework-aligned mathematics instruction (particularly Lesson Study) and interventions. Currently, modules on Number Sense for grades TK-2 and grades 3-5 are available.
California Collaborative for Learning Accelleration - CCEE Learning Accelleration Grant
The California Collaborative for Learning Acceleration (CCLA) offers free, asynchronous learning modules, broken up by grade span, to train educators on using Representations, Mathematical Language, and Word Problems to accelerate learning in mathematics. The CCLA also offers mathematics workshops for California educators and customized professional learning to partner districts.
The Math Professional Learning Partnership (MPLP) is a collaborative network of California school districts, county offices, the California Mathematics Project, and other educational leaders working together to strengthen mathematics teaching and learning.
The ELSF Math Guidelines offer research-based guidance to design math materials that integrate content, practices, and language development for multilingual learners. With five focus areas and supporting tools like Benchmarks of Quality and Adoption Toolkits, they help ensure equitable, rigorous, and inclusive math instruction for all students.
Count Play Explore
California Statewide Early Math Initiative to create innovative professional development, communications, and resources for early math educators to improve mathematics achievement for early learners. Count Play Explore is funded through this investment and serves as a statewide, multi-agency effort across California to promote positive and confident math and science outcomes among children from birth to 3rd grade.

California Mathematics Project
The California Mathematics Project is one of the California Subject Matter Projects that provide discipline-specific, research-based, sustained professional learning and leadership programs with the goal of developing teacher subject matter knowledge, pedagogy, and agency. There are 19 regional sites located at the University of California (UC), California State University (CSU), and independent college and university campuses to provide programs that strengthen teaching and learning in mathematics.
The California Preschool and Transitional Kindergarten Learning Foundations (PKTKLF) describe the key knowledge and skills children ages 3–5½ can develop with high-quality early learning experiences. They guide educators, families, and programs in supporting young children’s growth across settings.

We integrated CDE regulations, policies, and procurement practices throughout this guide.
