7.You will be expected to follow all these rules, otherwise you will be subject to punishment. (One violation of this may lead to a ban) We strive for an immersive role play environment, "shit lording" is not a badge of honor here. We envision all walks of life being present in the city and support law abiding civilian characters equally to police. Cop only game play state wiped is not what we desire. When role playing on our servers, you should always keep these points in mind. Community Respect: Age Requirement for Whitelisting: 18+ Being or breeding toxicity in any platform can have you removed from the community, if you have an issue address it properly, not in ways to create drama or be negative. If you want to talk, we can plan a meeting, we are all ears. This is our MOST important rule because all others are based off of this one. You should be respectful to all other players and administrators. You should always keep in mind that whatever you do in-game, should never infringe on another player's capacity to enjoy the game. DO NOT: Use racist / homophobic / derogatory /overly sexual remarks in, or out, of character or in Discord/Forums /TS. Repeatedly send someone angry or offensive out-of-character (OOC) messages because of an in-character subject or event either in game or Discord / Forums /TS. Deliberately argue with an administrator because you disagree with an administrative ruling. If an administrator's ruling seems to have been made in-error, the dispute should be addressed outside of the game. (ie. Discord / Forums /TS ) (edited)
rules Steam/Discord Usernames/Status: Your steam/discord name/status may not contain any offensive language that would violate our terms and Discord ToS. Your steam/discord name/status may not contain any links or promote in anyway ANY type of web address, or channels. Your Discord name should match your main Character of role play on the server. If you play a character in any whitelist job, (i.e. Police), your discord and TS name must match that character name. Streamer mode status that automatically shows you are streaming does not apply

GUIDELINES
1. Ignorance will not be tolerated. It is your responsibility to keep up to date with the rules and community guidelines.
2. Use common sense. If you are not RPing to a standard that is acceptable in the community you will risk losing your Whitelist tag.
3. This is an English speaking server, if you are not a fluent English speaker, this may not be the best place for you as you need to be able to communicate if any issues should arise.
4. No racist/overly sexual names will be allowed. Keep them realistic.
5. Keep the drama away from the server. OOC harassment/sexism/idiocy will not be tolerated.
6. Fail RP includes, but is not limited to, things such as - Abusing Game Mechanics, Dropping items while being cuffed/arrested, Powergaming (RPing outside of your character traits, abusing mechanics, and using means not actually in game to gain an advantage), Excessive Trolling, Forcing Unwanted RP, Sheriff Baiting, Combat Logging, Combat Storing, OOC Chatting/Talking.
7. Metagaming includes, but is not limited to, using knowledge that your character would not know in the server or communicating information through third party places - e.g. steam chats, discord (not including the server discord). You may not watch the stream of somebody playing on New Day RP while you yourself are also in-game.
8. If you have to RESPAWN, you should stay away from the area you went down for as long as as you can without affecting RP.
9. You may remember events leading to your incapacitation if you are brought to a hospital / medical clinic and respawn while inside of there. However, you should always roleplay your injuries regardless. For example, if you take a bad fall and bang your head, you may not remember what happened. However, if you were shot in the foot or hit by a car, you may remember those details. This does not apply if you are not at a hospital / medical clinic when you choose to respawn.
10. If you purposefully kill a player, you cannot take them to a hospital / medical clinic so that you can wait for them to get back up to interrogate or continue RP. Just leave them where they lay, or drop them off and leave if you want them to remember the events when they recover.
11. Taking jumps in vehicles with significant drops will be considered NVL (No Value Life).

13. You may only use a voice changer if you use this voice changer all the time for that specific character, or if you are using it over the phone.
14. You may only use a parachute when jumping out of an aircraft or helicopter, or for other recreational uses. This means, for example, you should not be using a parachutes as a means of escaping a situation unless you are jumping from an aircraft or helicopter. Using parachutes recreationally is permitted.
15. You may not commit any crime in the 20 minutes leading up to a Server Restart (the NOAA alert can be used as the cut-off point), given that 20 minutes to restart gives very little time for roleplay to fully play out. This includes crimes against players and NPCs (such as robberies). This does not include traffic citations (such as speeding), and does not include crimes that were already in-progress.
In addition, you may not begin a Bank Robbery or Jewelry Heist (Vangelico) in the 45 minutes leading up to a server restart, in order to allow the roleplay of those situations to fully play out in time for the restart.
