About Calico (real life)

Karen Vilchis, or known as Calico (or Callie by her college friends) is a Mexican American Artist, Writer, Editor, Dancer, Roleplayer, and Music Editor. She was born in Santa Ana, CA, but moved to Moreno Valley, CA during her lifetime (she still lives in MoVal to this date.) As the middle child, she has an older sister named "Kenia" and a younger bother named "Gilberto" (commonly known as Junior). Calico has ADHD and Autism.

The start of Art

The preschool she used to attend was mostly arts and crafts and music. Her favorite hobby was arts and crafts, mainly drawing all the time, also drawing cats, logos, and most imfamously, drawings of characters with round ball bodies (similar to Violet when she swells up like a blueberry)

With so many arts and crafts and drawing she has done numerous drawings (some of the oldest ones are lost due to them being trown away). The ones that are existing are kept safe in a box inside a closet.

I have improved art in the latesy years, I'm now 20 years old, and my career is Graphic Design and Printing

Tomodachi Life

The Beginning

Calico Bought Tomodachi Life in June 2017 after watching several videos of Vinesauce (Vinny), PixelsByNight, and DanTDM's Tomodachi Life. Calico was gifted a 3DS on her 14th Birthday. Calico added several Mii's, these Mii included

Her first save lasted until December 30, 2017, and deleted the save the next day. She made another one, but deleted it again on May 2018

Calico's third and current save is still in use, she rarely plays the game nowadays due to Tabby and the Animal Crossing Villager overtake and the eviction oc Calico's OC's in which she stopped playing since 2020, but came back a year later after Miitopia on the Nintendo Switch was announced. Calico later came back to play Tomodachi Life again after deleting Tabby and the naughty animals for good, and adding all of her main 58 OC's in the game itself.

Miitopia/The Renaissance

2018 (3DS version)

The beginning of the Renaissance is about a young teen who was heartbroken after his dad has passed away from leukemia, only for him to run away from the worries, but disappeared out of nowhere in where he was teleported to the world of the Renaissance by a glowing orb. Frankie is a traveler just running away from his problems, to notice everything is calm until he finds a floating pair of eyes being added to a butterfly, the butterfly had eyes and it started to attack Frankie, only for him to run away in fear, tired and scared until he found a town nearby. Telling all nearby towns that there is danger ahead, and a unfounding feind "The Dark Lord Tomotaka" removes everyone's faces and adds them to monsters. Frankie and his team must defeat Tomotaka and save the Renaissance once and for all. When Frankie and his friends were in the Renaissance world, a total of 10 people were missing that time. 8 teens and 2 adults.

2021 (Switch Version)

It's the same plot, but instead of Frankie running away after his father has passed away, it starts off as Frankie getting ready for his graduation plans, until he finds an glowing orb for some reason, he goes close to it and teleports to the Renaissance World. For Frankie and the other 9 friends, they're NOT labeled as missing people as they said they'll return after they defeat the Dark Lord Tomotaka, again.

The Beginning

In 2018, Calico was working on a Integrated Math Algebra Worksheet in which included 10 names in the paper. Their names are

Calico had to remember the names, and had to write it down on paper. As she got back home, she made the Mii's. She also added a Mii protagonist called "Frankie". From the gameplay, she also included Ronodo. About 10 Mii's were made for her main 10 OC's.

The Downfall

Unfortunately, in 2020, 6 of the 10 OC's were abandoned from Calico due to Tabby's Overturn. Later in early 2021, a Nintendo Direct in February 17, 2021, one of the headlines showed Miitopia in the direct. Miitopia was released on May 21, 2021 (9 days before Calico's 18th Birthday.) As for Calico, she had an ordeal, and to get rid of half of the characters, but keep 5. Frankie, Pranav, and Ronodo were kept, but Calico was gonna get rid of Trevon, Adam, and Norachai.

Nintendo Direct

On a pool that Calico posted on her DeviantART page, she posted on which female OC should be in her new Miitopia game, the highest two were Lisa and Amy (in that the case, Amanda and Jenny were removed). The OC's replacing were

Sandra Gutiérrez (Replaces Jenny)
Shirou Kimura (Replaces Norachai)
Philomena Segal (Replaces Adam)

The original 10 teammates are back

The replacement Idea is scrapped due to removing the charm and feeling of the original game, so she decided to bring back the main characters, and give them one more chance. On May 30th, 2021, she bought Miitopia, alongside Just Dance 2021 and Bayonetta. She played the game, only to design Frankie and the others first.

Why does she draw inflation and other sorts of TF's?

Remeber what we said previously? Calico drew girls with round ball bodies due to an obsession of Violet swelling up like a blueberry. In the future, Inflation took over as Calico's main subject in most of her art.

Does anyone near her know this? The answer is yes. But it's her friends from school, and the people in College (the first semester). Calico hides this fact of hers to her friends because they might find her disturbing.

Calico's World

I still play the 3DS version of Tomodachi Life, since Nintendo is still lollygagging and they're giving us shitty Animal Crossing inspired Farm Sims instead of Tomodachi Life for the Switch. I have a total of 58 OC's, but I have more than you think.

I also had Andrew (A Anole) Peach (a hairless Ruby eye Rat) and Corn (a frog). Andrew died from drowning due to the humidifier exceeded too much, while Corn was released outside his cage. Peach Died from pneumonia.
