Valero Minority Engineering Summit 

Eligibility:

1.  Must be CURRENTLY ENROLLED as a FRESHMAN at an accredited university

2. Have a 3.0 GPA or higher

3. Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering and Pre-Engineering Majors

4. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident

5. Ability to attend a 4-day Summit in San Antonio, TX, on MAY 14-17, 2024 (if selected)

Application: (1) Answer 3 short response questions, (2) Write an original essay that describes your interest/passion for engineering and the role you see energy playing in our future, (3) Submit Resume, (4) Submit Transcript

IEEE Presidents’ Scholarship

Eligibility: 

1. Students must compete in the Intel ISEP competitions beginning at the state/local level and advance onto the international competition, held annually in May
