Im sat here with a client where they have a lot of shared calendars, previously they have been able to open the shared calendar and show it in list view, however when you do this now the calendar snaps back to "my calendars" and closes the shared calendar entirely.

I also had the problem of events().list(calendarId=, singleEvents=False) not returning any events (using python API). I tested with a secondary calendar with one recurring event. Solved by adding parameter maxResults=9999. It turned out that maxResults value 1413 or higher is needed to return the event. Weird, seems to be a bug.

But this does not (doesn't return any events including those that are on the 'primary' calendar and are single, non-recurring events). The only difference from above code is singleEvents parameter is commented out so it's value will default to false.

Yes you are right, NoCodeMonkeys Calendar Pro/Advanced Calendar is super versitile. And you can easily click the button of the date and filter the events on that day in a list. See second screenshot for settings.

This is a list of calendars. Included are historical calendars as well as proposed ones. Historical calendars are often grouped into larger categories by cultural sphere or historical period; thus O'Neil (1976) distinguishes the groupings Egyptian calendars (Ancient Egypt), Babylonian calendars (Ancient Mesopotamia), Indian calendars (Hindu and Buddhist traditions of the Indian subcontinent), Chinese calendars and Mesoamerican calendars. These are not specific calendars but series of historical calendars undergoing reforms or regional diversification.

In Classical Antiquity, the Hellenic calendars inspired the Roman calendar, including the solar Julian calendar introduced in 45 BC. Many modern calendar proposals, including the Gregorian calendar introduced in 1582 AD, contains modifications from that of the Julian calendar.

In the list below, specific calendars are given, listed by calendar type (solar, lunisolar or lunar), time of introduction (if known), and the context of use and cultural or historical grouping (if applicable). Where appropriate, the regional or historical group (Jewish calendar, Hijri calendar, Sikh, Mayan, Aztecan, Egyptian, Mesopotamian, Iranian, Hindu, Buddhist, Pre-Columbian Mesoamerican, Hellenic, Julian or Gregorian-derived) is noted.

Calendars fall into four types: lunisolar, solar, lunar and seasonal. Most pre-modern calendars are lunisolar. The seasonal calendars rely on changes in the environment (e.g., "wet season", "dry season") rather than lunar or solar observations. The Islamic and some Buddhist calendars are lunar, while most modern calendars are solar, based on either the Julian or the Gregorian calendars.

Some calendars listed are identical to the Gregorian calendar except for substituting regional month names or using a different calendar epoch. For example, the Thai solar calendar (introduced 1888) is the Gregorian calendar using a different epoch (543 BC) and different names for the Gregorian months (Thai names based on the signs of the zodiac).

After I switch back to e-mails and back again to calendar, it is again in event list view. I do not see this ribbon there, this ribbon is available under other calendar folders only (Archive, Online archive etc.):

If you are only keying on one date, just specify that date column for both Start date on calendar and End date on calendar. But if you have two dates to track (such as "project start" and "project completion"), you can specify one each under Start date and End date. The effect will be that each calendar item in your list will be represented on the calendar as a span of days rather than a single date.

Under More options, you have the ability to select which column in your list is used as the label for each that appears on the calendar. By default, Title is used, but you can change that if you like.

Display a default value: Automatically display a specific date or date and time when someone adds a new item, while also allowing people to enter a different value if they need to do so. A default value helps people enter information faster. For example, if the column stores the date when an expense is incurred and most expenses are incurred on the first day of the fiscal year, you can specify the first day of the fiscal year as the default value. As a result, that date appears automatically when a new item is added to the list, and team members do not have to enter the date.

A default value can be a value that you specify, the date an item is added to a list or library, or the result of a calculation, which is called a calculated value. Calculated values are helpful when you want to display a specific date or time automatically but the date or time might vary depending on the item. To use a calculated value, you enter a formula as the default value. The formula can calculate a value based on information in other columns or system functions such as [today], to indicate the current date. For example, if you want the column to display a date that is 30 days after the current date, type the equation =[TODAY]+30 in the Calculated Value box.

I've been doing some work to interface Microsoft Outlook and one of my LabVIEW applications. I'm currently able to create tasks, calendar items, and mail. I've also been able to figure out how to read my contacts list. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find the right combination of nodes to read my calendar or mail.

I was playing around with reading mail and the calendar and uploaded the file without changing both back. Looks like I just made a stupid error and had an invoke where I needed a property node. Your example took care of it. Thanks for the help.

It appears that some types of outlook emails do not allow you to obtain the subject in this way - it returns error 3008. I have found this to be the case with calendar invite emails, but there may also be other types.

So here is what is happening for you: At some point the code gets to an email that is a calendar invite or something else and can't get its subject. The error is propagated on the shift register so that the next loop iteration, when it tries to get the next item in the inbox, it already has an error in and so it doesn't even try and just propagates the error further (in LabVIEW, most functions are set up so they do nothing in the case of an error in). Thus, you are actually getting 216 elements in the string array, but just they are blank strings after the point at which the error occurred.

To fix this, right click on the shift register and click "Replace With Tunnels." Then the error won't propagate and you will only get empty strings for the calendar items (or whatever other items don't work with this). You could also filter out the empty ones if you want, with a conditional tunnel:

I want to achieve the following: I want to be able to list in a message the events of the day with time and name. Would be awesome I can check how attendees are in the event to know if it is a meeting or if it is simply time I blocked.

But a lot of things happened lately. What I first did is I use the api node in Node red to fetch the events from /calendars/calendar.XXXXXX. Then there I do some filtering like eliminating the one without any attendees or other specific to my need to have only real meeting and then I expose them in a numerical sensor as an attribute. The state itself being the amount of meetings.

And it works well. That being said I am moving away from Google Agenda so I will probably need to check the calDAV integration.

I have tried to adapt this code to work in template, but I still only get the current next entry in the calendar.

The problem I encounter is I am trying to send a notification 2hrs before a calendar event but can only read one event. so in my below example, there are 2 entries at 11am in the calendar for our cleaning company; HA is sending two notifications for the same address. Things work fine if the entries are at different times, but our calendar is fed from AirBNB for the checkin time / check out time of a guest and we have 5 properties, so there can be up to 5 entries at the same time for a cleaning task.

My use case is to show a list of upcoming events on a epaper display. I already tried some ICS/ICAL custom_components, however they all seem to have huge problems with reoccuring events (e.g. birthdays events).

Use it for agendas, memos, shopping lists, and team collaboration. Schedule multiple reminders, view flexible calendars, set recurring tasks, create checklists, add tasks via email, and even use Siri to create tasks.

TickTick is the best to-do list app thanks to its simple and structured project organization, seamless calendar integration, and flexibility to fit into many different workflows rather than forcing you to organize your work a certain way.

I'm looking for a way to track and schedule a list of tools. So right now, we have a list of specialty tools used for certain projects on Smartsheet. Whenever a tool is needed, it is shipped to the location where it's needed, and then it's location is updated in Smartsheet.

What I'd like is a way expand on this. And so it's easy for anyone at our company to use, I'd like to create a form where someone can choose a tool (or better yet, multiple tools) from the list, and then enter the start date, end date, and location for that tool. It would really be nice if something like the Gantt chart, with a calendar adjacent to the row where the tool is listed, could show the schedule of when a tool is reserved for use and where.

The Gantt feature only seems to allow one set of start/end dates (so a project timeline can be created). Since multiple start and end dates for each line item in the list will be needed, I'm assuming each item listed will need it's own spreadsheet where schedule and location can be tracked, where every time the schedule form is filled out, the next row in that tool's spreadsheet will populate with the entries. 2351a5e196
