Meet Our Director and Accompanist!
Elizabeth Bayer is a music educator with degrees from both Grand Valley State University and Western Michigan University. She was the choir director at Lakewood Public Schools before becoming a stay at home mom, and managed and directed the combined United Church of Wayland and Wayland Methodist Church choir before COVID.
Now, she music directs the Thornapple Players musicals, sings with the professional choir Vox Grand Rapids, and directs the Caledonia Community Choir!
Jane Greenfield was raised in Caledonia, Michigan and was given many opportunities to develop as a church pianist, piano teacher, and choir accompanist from a young age.
Jane received a Bachelor of Music Degree in Piano Pedagogy from MSU in 1982 and has been teaching privately for over 50 years.
She was a long time accompanist for the Caledonia schools and considers it a great privilege to continue accompanying for Solo and Ensemble students and the Caledonia Community Choir.
