This book offers a rigorous, interdisciplinary investigation into the psychology of religion, examining how human cognition, evolution, and culture generate and sustain belief in the supernatural. Bridging neuroscience, phenomenology, philosophy, and cognitive science, it invites readers to critically assess the origins, functions, and consequences of religious thought while following the evidence wherever it leads.
