I am originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado. I got my undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Northern Colorado. I then got my Masters degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Arizona. I am going into my fifth year at the University of Arizona for my PhD in Applied Mathematics with an emphasis in Computer Science and Statistics.
I am a huge fan of traveling! I have been to approximately 20 countries across 5 continents. I spent over a year living in Jülich, Germany (the outskirts of Köln) during a foreign exchange in high school. I repeated a study abroad for my final semester in undergrad in the Math in Moscow program in relation with the Higher School of Economics (HSE) in Moscow, Russia. It is a personal life goal to travel to all 7 continents, all that remains is Australia and Antarctica. If you have a research project that you need an applied mathematician for in McMurdo Station, please reach out! ;)
