Seminars on World Logic Day
UNESCO has announced that January 14 will be celebrated as World Logic Day. To celebrate this event, CLC has organized the following seminars since 2019.
2023: In collaboration with Calcutta Logic Circle, Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi organized a lecture on 29 January, 2023 to celebrate World Logic Day this year. The presentation was given by Prof. Kamal Lodaya on Origins of Computer Science.
2022: The World Logic Day was celebrated at the annual meet of Calcutta Logic Circle: 21st CLC Annual Meet 2022. To see the celebrations happened all around the world click here.
2021: In this year, Association for Logic in India (ALI) in co-ordination with CLC and Mathematics Teacher's Association, India, virtually organized a few lectures. For details, see the link. To see the celebrations happened all around the world click here.
Prof. R. Ramanujam, Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Chennai, delivered a lecture on Logic for school mathematics.
Dr. Sourav Tarafder, Assistant Professor, St. Xavier's College, Kolkata, delivered a lecture on Models of non-classical set theories.

Prof. Graham Priest, Distinguished Professor of Philosophy, The Graduate Center, City University of New York, delivered a presentation on Alfred Tarski. The presentation can be found here.
