Privacy Policy - Calculadora BCV

Juan Álvarez (hereinafter, "the Developer") values your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information in the Calculadora BCV mobile application.

1.1. Information We Collect

• Personal Data: No registration is required. We do not collect your name, email, or phone number.

• Camera and Gallery (OCR): The app requests access to the camera and gallery exclusively for the price scanner feature. Image processing occurs locally on your device; no images are uploaded to external servers or shared.

• Device Identifiers: We use the Google Advertising ID to manage advertisements through AdMob.

• Payments: In-app purchases are processed through Google Play Billing. The developer does not have access to your credit card or banking information.

1.2. Third-Party Services 

We use the following services that may collect data independently:

• Google AdMob: To display advertisements.

• Google Play Services: For the technical operation of the app and payments.

• Google Analytics for Firebase: To analyze application usage and performance. 

1.3. Data Storage 

Your preferences, settings, and bank account data (Mobile Payment/Transfers) that you choose to save are stored exclusively locally on your device. This data is used solely to facilitate the payment information sharing feature and is deleted if you clear the app data or uninstall it. The developer has no remote access to this information.

1.4. Children's Privacy 

This application is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.
